I don't understand the Giannis hate. Is there something that's not being reported about him because it seems like old school and current players have some of beef with him.
The only player I saw defending Giannis was Isiah Thomas,a few months ago...

Yea.. i think there may be something to that as well. For whatever reason he doesnt seem as embraced by his peers as he should. I know i had my criticisms about him and his game but he has improved over the last season and half. I wonder if its play related (his game relies heavily on referee discretion as they swallow the whistle on his travels and charges often) or something more personal (potential coon behavior).

He never stood a chance once those veterans leaked information to the media very early during his rookie season. The perception of him will never go away until he goes to a different team.
That's the reason,why they're holding him hostage at the moment. They want to keep him but reduce his role at the same time. Collin wants starting shooting guard money,as he should,yet they want to pay him as a bench player.
As long as Sexton is off the team this fanbase and the local media will be happy.
