{The Official 2021-22 NBA Thread} - Finals: Warriors vs Celtics…{4-2 advantage warriors } Dubs NBA champs, Curry MVP

White handler :hmm: Ain’t nobody handling KD except his dumb ass self. Dude should have never signed long term anyways. Matter of fact he shouldn’t have never wanted to play with fucking Killmonger! Or wanted to be coached by that idiot Nash. This had nothing to do with his “white handler”. This is all on KD. It was dumb when he left for Brooklyn and it’s just all coming out now…
I hear ya.. But nah bro.. You cant let your SOLE client sign a long term deal with zero leverage. This is on his agent. You dont let a guy of that caliber sign a deal with no opt, no no trade, and no trade kicker. cac fucked up bigly. Same idiot who let him go back in and play on a bad achilles as a looming free agent.
They sign the big contract, then pout and request to be traded.

It's the "NBA Way".

Look at Bradley Beal. He signed the big contract, and in a year or two he'll probably pout and request to be traded.

It's a cycle and the system of the NBA.

I'm not mad at it, but that's the system.
If that’s the case then his agent shouldn’t have let him go play with mr sabotage in the 1st place. His agent should have also told him don’t pick Nash to be your coach. That fool signed a long term not knowing if kyrie would be there or not; and now he wants out :hmm: nah fam this is all on KD…
None of that shit you talking is inherently part of a agents responsibility. At its core, the agent reps the client interest during contract negotiations. cac failed KD in that specific regard on that long term deal with no protections or outs.

I'm sorry but what DON'T yall get about KD signing a long term deal with the nets?? He left GS to head up HIS OWN TEAM...HIS OWN TEAM. He made a commitment to Brooklyn for the speciific purpose of being as Barkley put it THE BUS DRIVER. Yall think Curry has opt outs and chicken switch clauses with GS?? Thats HIS team he's in it for the LONG HAUL. Thats what Durant signed up for.

Put it this way if the Nets had 1 or 2 rings by now even with Kyrie showing his ass..he wouldn't be asking for a trade. He signed up for the marquee deal..when you think of Brooklyn Nets you think Kevin Durant just like when you think Golden State Warriors you think Steph Curry, or Chicago Bulls MJ. Thats what that LONG TERM deal was working towards.

and him jumping a ship he had a major hand in building is the ultimate BITCH move that IMO fucks up any legacy dude has so far. He SHOULD get rid of kyrie and stick it out in Brooklyn..its HIS ship. But really this just shows that KD's NOT a leader or galvanizer of men :smh::smh::smh:

He just signed that long term deal so what he changed his mind :giggle: dude doesn’t know what he wants. He’s a unbelievable great basketball player but a weirdo with everything else. That’s ok because the universe doesn’t give you everything; but all this is on KD. That’s the only thing I’m saying. @Amajorfucup just trying to attack his agent like his agent can control shit. But aint no agent in the fucking history of nba got a player an opt out clause when they sign a long term deal. Shit is mad stupid that that would be suggested. All those clauses come at the end of the contract and short contracts ( like a 1 and 1 and or a 2 year deal) 4 year deals or 5 ain’t no fucking opt out clause. Those are long term deals now. Only thing he maybe could have gotten is a no trade clause. Maybe a kicker but none of that means anything because he wants out. So a trade kicker wouldn’t help him and a no trade doesn’t help him because he wants to be traded…

You do understand that an opt-out serves the same purpose as an opt-in right? Even if you dont, I also mentioned trade kickers and no trades to further my point was about player leverage.

Again, how does a trade kicker and a no trade clause help KD in this situation???

You dont understand how a trade kicker or no trade would help him here?

Im trying to be patient with you bro.. But im one post away from calling you a fucking moron...

Allow me to make one last attempt... My overall point is how he has poor representation. My point is NOT isolated on this issue here. But how his handler has failed him overall, particularly in allowing a top 3 player to sign that deal with zero leverage.

again we all know what your overall point is; and its a stupid point; KD put himself in this position, not his agent; thats the point; no one is to blame but KD...

I'm unsure why you quoted me when I simply stated the NBA Way to get yourself traded.

I think Ben rather commit suicide than go to a team with Jimmy Buckets. He knows Jimmy won't tolerate his bullshit...lol

I saw this insane list of high quality players the Nets CANNOT trade for specifically because Ben Simmons is on their current roster

Incredible

Beige Plague @jack walsh13

But I think Heat Culture is exactly what Ben needs

Just pay UD extra to be a coach and his only responsibility is Ben watch

Cuzzo..

They hating on the Harden deal

Apparently teams whispering to the league that it's illegal

Union not happy either

It's the 15 million left on the table

They says it sets a bad precedent

Other players mad too cause it makes them look bad for not taking pay cuts.

They think the Philly owner gonna do some backdoor payoff like Cuban did for Dirk

You heard anything?
