I get what you're saying about the distinction between being more lax about sex and accepting porn. This society is schizophrenic about it really. It enjoys sex work but hates sex workers. Spice Girls probably wasn't the best example. I just mentioned them because they seem like they had more leeway than Destiny's Child back then. I also read somewhere that Jenna Jameson would get a lot of adolescent girls at her book signings for "Have Sex Like a Porn Star" but that's a bit more recent I believe.

"American Pie," like you said, was definitely more suggestive than explicit. But it seemed like it opened up a doorway to raunchier and raunchier mainstream movies. Think of the raunchy movie spoofs by the Wayans brothers for instance. I believe it also had a desensitizing effect on the public and allowed it to accept more stuff. I can remember being in high school and watching infomercials for "Girls Gone Wild" and "Wild Party Girls." Many social conservatives would argue that was the "pornification" of our culture.

Anyway, it's very interesting discussing all of this recent cultural history.

It's crazy to think that it would have been okay if there was a former porn star in the Spice Girls--a group that was aggressively marketed to 9-year-old girls??? That shit would not fly TODAY, let alone 15 years ago. I mean, there WAS a minor scandal early in their career when it was found out that Ginger Spice had done some nude modeling when she was younger... but they overcame it. And that is still a long, long way from if she had done hardcore XXX. No way could that have worked out for them, even today. That's like saying you believe Riley Reid could be cast on a Disney Channel show. Nah, man lol

Remember back in the early 2000s when girls were getting kicked off trashy VH1 reality shows and being shamed when it was revealed that they had done porn... 15 years ago was a very different era from today, yo. But even today in 2022 you still got porn stars unable to find jobs when they leave the industry... shit, right here on a fucking porn forum, in this very thread, you have cats shaming girls for porn they did 20 years ago. That should tell you that no matter how liberal society may be around sexuality... there is still a distinct stigma around porn. And it was more so in the early 2000s when there was a much clearer line between the worlds of mainstream and underground entertainment.

I have to agree with you on that cuz I can think of a few well for sure one that's a personal trainer and that's Monique / shamara..... But they do go into a lot of grassroots type advocacy type job / groups that help individuals in the adult business

As much fun and joking as I do on this young lady I would still bring her to the family reunion barbecue would have no problem being seen with her out in public yeah she put on some pounds but it's nice and proportion

She was always the baddest when she had black hair. I’ve had my moments of absence here but didn’t someone used go to the same church as her and used to occasionally post her in her Sundays best.
