Discussion: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - confirmed Sam Raimi directing UPDATE: REVIEWS!

Dude just be saying anything :giggle: if it ain't Marvel studios then it don't matter to Marvel. It's really that simple...
You both just proved my point. How can Spiderman be accepted, but not the other films?

Also, you two are saying different things.

One is saying that if it isn't MCU which is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then it doesn't matter.

The other is saying, if it isn't produced by Marvel Studios, it doesn't matter.

This is the absurdity of most modern Marvel fans.

This dude here. Let me make this real simple for you! If it does not say MARVEL STUDIOS then it's not apart of MARVEL STUDIOS!!! GET ALL THAT OTHER DUMB SHIT OUTTA HERE!!!!

Because Spiderman is done by Marvel Studios and is in the MCU.
Maybe you genuinely don't know this?
Did you not see Kevin Feige promoting Spiderman?

Actually, just so you can have the facts:

Spiderman is co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios and distributed by Sony Pictures.

Unlike Avengers Endgame which was solely produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

But, similar to The Incredible Hulk which was solely produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Universal Pictures. Yes, Kevin Feige is listed as a producer.

Which further supports my point that some people like to include Spiderman, but do not want to include films such a The Incredible Hulk, which was produced by KF and Marvel.

You also said Morbius and Venom. So tell me about them. I already know but tell me how they are MCU.

Hulk movies aint MCU.

Just like X Men ain't MCU.

You usually are are super chill poster. But you acting weird when it comes to Marvel movies.

The new Spiderman trilogy was produced by Marvel.

The Hulk is co-owned by universal, hence why there is no focus on really developing him. They would have to share profits with them for a solo Hulk movie.

Venom and that other shit is Sony, and not part of the main MCU. Morbius might be, we will find out later.

Putting movie studios aside storyline wise, Hulk 2008 is considered the second movie of the MCU . Venom and Morbius are marvel characters but in another universe.

It's 2022. If you don't know what is produced by Marvel or whats not then you can't be helped
Exactly!!

No, Spiderman was co-produced by both Marvel and Sony. You will not find it anywhere where it says Marvel produced Spiderman without Sony.

Yes, Hulk is a Universal property just like Spiderman is a Sony property. Your point makes zero sense. They share Spiderman profits with Sony. Read the fine print. The problem with Hulk was multifaceted beginning with the movie being wack. Second was that it wasn't as fun as Ironman. Third was Norton was a bad cast. Forth, Nort9n shifted on the movie before it was released.

Venom, and the other shit you mentioned are in Spiderman's Universe. So, Spiderman is included in that other shit you speak of.

And yes, the incredible hulk is a part of the MCU due to multiple references.

“Last time I was in New York, I broke Harlem.” This was a reference to his fight with The Abomination at the end of The Incredible Hulk.

Cmon man. Some of yall Luke to argue just to argue when you have been proved wrong three posts ago

I said that for people like you!

The only thing Sony did with the MARVEL produced spiderman trilogy was slap there name one it as part of the deal and collect revenue. Sony had nothing to do with putting spiderman in the MCU. If that was the case why did they even let Marvel have access to him. The could have just replaced the actor every 2-3 movies make there 600 million and bounce.

Marvel consumers they ain't fans their consumers. That dude who said he'd watch a squirrel girl show in the Ms marvel thread proves my point. They'll watch any damn thing as long as the Disney marvel brand is stamped on it. Quite a few of them don't know shit about the source material either . It's just a wave they're riding. Take marvel fa.... I mean consumers.

Bro, read between the lines.

The Hulk is MCU, but they don't own the rights, hence why will never see a real incredible Hulk movie until this is resolved. Disney is not going to put the $$$ into a property they don't fully own. The guys who produced the Hulk movie were not the same guys that did Hulk. There are several Youtube videos talking about it. Fucking Edward Norton was doing rewrites and shit. How did he have that much power? Cause it wasn't really a Marvel production.

Spiderman was so damaged by Sony, they had to bow down and get the Marvel machine behind it. If you look now, Morbius is getting shitty reviews. Venom was and is ass

Thank you brother. Very well said and backed up.

Marvel Studios releases its films in groups called "Phases".[79][80] Phase One consists of Iron Man (2008), The Incredible Hulk (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011), and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

I will say it again to reiterate my main point which has been prove many times over.........

Some are saying that if it isn't MCU which is the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then it doesn't matter.

Other are saying, if it isn't produced by Marvel Studios, it doesn't matter.

This is the absurdity of most modern Marvel fans.

Mayne!

The MCU and Marvel Studios are on the the same. Hulk waa the 2nd film in the MCU.

The Tom Holland Spider-Man is MCU.

Sony had to the Marvel Studios do the character justice after the previoys trilogy. All Sony has on that bitch is a name stamp and profits but all the other shit is Marvel Studios.

All them other Marvel Chacter movies under other Studios aint MCU so in the context of this thread they dont factor into the MCU.

Fox and Sony 100% produced shit is not grouped into the MCU. Only thing common is they are Marvel characters.

And yes the MCU has dropped some duds, but these mofos made plenty of great products and huge events that hit on 100% the in theater opening night of Black Panther and Infinity War were electric. Infinity War was the most electric atmosphere while viewing a film.

Taking place after No Way Home and Loki, the one-minute teaser trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness features Doctor Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, as he faces the consequences of opening up the multiverse, leaving space for surprising characters to return. Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, also relives “the same dream” similar to Doctor Strange’s, but is instead haunted by her visions. Maximoff, also known as the Scarlett Witch, embraces her Sokovian accent as she has to wake up from her nightmare of losing her twin sons, Billy and Tommy, who were last heard faintly in the finale of Wandavision. Joining the duo in their quest to repair the multiverse are Wong (Benedict Wong), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), Nicodemus West (Michael Stuhlbarg), and Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams). Directed by Sam Raimi, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness comes to theaters on May 6th.
