You are absolutely right. He always downplays the injuries and throws up smoke screens. It wouldn't surprise me if he asked Jimmy to play along just to throw the Texans off.

So I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans put Cooks on Josh Norman
And then just target Norman all game long
The Texans QB is actually pretty decent
A lot of 9er fans are sleeping on Houston, just because of their record
To be honest Lance doesn't have to do too much
Just don't turn the ball over
The Texans run defense is literally the 2nd worse in the entire NFL
So all we have to do is run, run, run
Lance should probably have about 20 pass attempts by the end of the game

I totally agree with you. Cooks on Norman side all day is a mismatch. He will eat him up. People are sleeping on Houston, but they’ve gotten into a little groove the past few weeks. Cooks has been eating all year long.
I think Kyle knows their run defense sucks so it should be heavy run today. Rotate Mitchell, Wilson Jr & Hasty in there. Just keep pounding. Have Trey use some play-action to wide open guys. But definitely use a typical rookie game plan. Heavy run, minimal passes. Set up a few shots deep just to keep the defense honest when they start mugging up.

Trey hesitated a bit on his last run. He needs to race to the marker. In college he might have been able to run thought a guy, but it doesn’t work in the NFL.
