NBA Anti-Vaxxers Are Trying to Push Around the League .. Kyrie Irving says he was living the "life of a martyr"

Kyrie thinks he's the smartest muthafucka on the planet :smh:

On the flat planet.

My issue with this statement is, if you're vaccinated, what fear do you have of others whom arent? I mean you're protected against it.To me this proves you have little faith in the vaccine if you still believe you can contract the hoax through someone unvaxed
What about kids and people with compromised immunity? You Anti vaxx free thinkers don't care about anyone but yourselves. Also, people survive but end up with lifelong health issues from something that is almost preventable.

Munchausen Syndrome , these motherfuckers are like you and cant think for themselves. And believe everything some white man on TV tells them. So they mentally make themselves sick, when its absolutely normal, sneeze, cough or be a little tired from time to time. It doesnt mean you're gonna die and you have some super deadly disease.
People like you assume people listen and follow people blindly because you don't have a concept of how critical thinking and scientific theory works. Because people like me look for falsifiable claims, make a hypothesis, test the hypothesis and if your hypothesis is substantiated, then you go with that. For example, when people said at the beginning that the vaccine does not work, my immediate hypothesis was that if the vaccine does work you'd expect to see more variants and a higher number of people getting sick at the states with the least amount of vaccines, and guess what, this is exactly what is happening. For joke and fun, what is your explanation for what we are witnessing in reality with these numbers?
BTW no one said you will die if you sneeze or cough so stop with the straw-manning bullshit, crap like that makes you look bad!

Other than the missing games part

If you're vaxxed and you believe what they keep saying about how it will keep you out of the hospital, why do you care about the ones unvaxed?

Besides the mandate about missing home games and that being your team...dudes are outraged over what? What country has a 100% vax rate?

If I am working offshore and we are handling methanol and some idiot swears that his right to smoke is being infringed upon while hotwork is suspended it matters. If you want to be unvaxed during a pandemic, fuck you. Your choice is affecting others. Have you even stepped into the HCA thread? Peep it bro, it's full of regrets and tragedy cause people thought their personal choice only affected them.

People make choices to smoke, eat shit and be fat :dunno:

Life is about choices, y'all seem to want to dictate which ones are acceptable.

This us against them shit is weird...and I don't even see most vaxxed people even wearing fucking mask.

and that smoking shit made no sense.

If Kyrie doesn’t want the vaccine, what’s the issue?

Not getting the vaccine doesn’t stop him or anyone from getting Covid. They’re making it like it stops the spread of it.

Oh wait, the Nets don’t want him to catch Covid and die because they’ve invested millions in him!:roflmao:

Niggas siding with a guy who thinks the earth is flat. You all deserve Covid and an ass beating on top.

It’s not about Kyrie, it’s about anyone.

If Jim-Bob in Alabama doesn’t want the vaccine and he catches Covid and dies, that’s his problem. He questioned the vaccine and now there’s no question if he’s dead.

It’s not my issue, I don’t care.

Get vaccinated or don’t.

Seatbelts saves lives. If you choose not to put on a seatbelt and drive, why should I care?

That’s your business and your choice. When you get in an accident and die, that was on you. :dunno:
The difference is there are thousands of people with compromised immune systems who are not able to take the vaccine, who the non-vaxxers place their lives at risk by not vaccinating, and on top of that, these are the same assholes who refuse to mask up.

Also the more the virus is allowed to replicate the more roll of the dice chances there are for the creation of variants. The fact that the variants are hitting the states that are least vaccinated is no coincidence. And by the law of average, the longer this virus is allowed to replicate, the greater the chance of an end game variant emerging from the dust, something that can be as deadly as the 1918 flu.

Good point. And why should an individual person care about anyone but themselves in this society? How has that “care for everyone”, “we are the world” approach helped so-called black people in America?

Again do you.
Stop bandwagoning against your own people.
In the end you have to take care of self. Don’t fall for the lemming schlemming.

but vaxers do the same, because it can still catch it and spread it

and plenty of them aren't wearing mask

If you have a compromised immune system, you need to stay in the house :dunno:

We’re talking about vaccinations, not masks in this instance.

If a person with a compromised immune system and is unable to take the vaccine, it doesn’t matter if another person is vaccinated because that other person can still get Covid.

Whether a person is vaccinated or un-vaccinated has no relevance to a person with a compromised immune system who’s unable to be vaccinated.

Vaccinated or un-vaccinated can still get and pass Covid to others.

Ok now you have a point.

This is true to an extent, but if you did have a compromised immune system where would you rather live, in a state that has a high amount of vaccinated people or a state the has no vaccinated people?

Ok but unvaccinated people are taking up hospital beds in ICU from people who need them. The vaccine keeps you out the icu in 99% of cases. There are some vaccinated people who get really sick but that’s not the norm. So if you have somebody who got shot or needs an icu bed you have some selfish piece of shit unvaccinated faggots taking up space

And what of value is free in a capitalistic society? Absolutely nothing at all.

But you think the government will give you “life saving medication” for free? :smh:
Depends...how could they charge everyone for it during a Pandemic? Im vaccinated. I made an informed decision for myself that im happy with. Everyone else should do the same. Again, my only issue with any of this is the Bullying by either side on what to do about anyone else's personal health.

Easy, the same way they’ve continued to charge people. I didn’t even bring up the inflation from printing money like it is going out of style.

I don’t blame anyone for getting the vaccination or opting out but the bullying is coming from the people that got it. The sad part of it is the pro-whites are the ones doing it most because they think they are closer to their white daddy for doing it.

Vaccinated or un-vaccinated can still get and pass Covid to others.
Vaccinated people can still get Covid, however:

-are less likely to be hospitalized or die
-are contagious for shorter periods of time
-harbor less infectious virus
-can spread the disease like an unvaccinated person but since they are WAY less likely to have the virus in the first gotdamn place, there are many less vaccinated people around to even spread the shit. The majority of spread is coming from the unvaccinated because they're the main ones with it.
-contribute to community immunity, which arrests the spread and mutation of the disease and is totally relevant to the well being of those who can't get the vaccine.

If someone doesn't know this by now, it's because they don't want to. If they know it but don't believe it for whatever reason, well that's another thing. Both stupid though.

50-60 of them haven't got the vaccine. If they don't give a fuck, I don't. Play ball bitches. They already had to play a season without it. Folks weren't lining up to save them then.

That said, Kyrie's injury-prone ass needed to be the first person in line for the vaccine. I'd love for him to stick to this so he misses all the home playoff games. Fuck the Kyrie and KD.

NBA won't test fully vaccinated players regularly, issues COVID protocols for 2021-22 season, per report

As the NBA prepares for the 2021-22 season, more information is starting to be released regarding the league's COVID-19 protocols. The league recently announced that all referees must be vaccinated, in addition to any team or arena personnel that comes into contact with players. That includes coaches and front-office executives, to photographers sitting courtside and those at the scorer's table.
The league, per The Athletic's Shams Charania, also informed all 30 teams of its testing protocols for the upcoming season on Tuesday. Fully-vaccinated players will reportedly not require regular testing. For those non-fully-vaccinated, one negative test on practice/travel day will be required, as well as two negative tests on game day.
COVID-19 vaccinations will also not be required for players ahead of the new season, according to Charania.
Specific teams will also be following local government COVID-19 guidelines, which means that players for the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors will all reportedly be required to be fully vaccinated to play in home games, in accordance with New York City and San Francisco's vaccine mandate. However, that mandate doesn't apply to visiting teams.

While the league won't require all players to be fully vaccinated
, those who are will be afforded certain privileges as opposed to the unvaccinated or not fully vaxxed. Per Charania, those privileges include:

That is a stark difference from last season when daily testing was the norm, and there were heavy restrictions against even eating at restaurants while traveling on the road. But with the widespread access of several vaccines against COVID-19, the NBA plans to allow those who are fully vaccinated to have a sense of normalcy return to their lives during the season.
For individuals not fully vaccinated, though, daily testing will be required and they will be required to quarantine if they come into close contact with someone who tests positive for the virus. They will be required to wear masks at team facilities and during team travel and will not be allowed to sit next to other players during activities, per Charania.
These guidelines could obviously change if COVID-19 reaches the point it was at when the last season started in December 2020. But for right now, the league is hoping that with enough fully vaccinated players -- which NBPA executive director Michele Roberts said that 90% of the league is vaccinated -- there won't be the need to postpone as many games.

Training camps for the upcoming season start at the end of September, with the regular season for the 75th anniversary of the NBA tipping off Oct. 19.
