Again, the precautions are there to reduce the risk. I already stated that I do not think that the vaccine provides 100% protection from getting Covid, and I havent heard it marketed that way either. Whatever I can REALISTICALLY do to minimize the risk of me getting Covid and/or transmitting it to my loved ones are worth it to me. In the winter, I put on gloves to realistically reduce the risk of my hands getting frost bitten. Of course, they could still get frost bitten, but I have taken a realistic approach to reduce the risk. Am I foolish for that as well?

With all our medical progress the best we can do, is help people live with shit longer, we still cant cure cancer, we still cant cure blindness and theres still no cure for aids and other major conditions. Its that the more people get vaccinated, the less the virus has the chance to get around, because for vaccinated peeps their systems will kill the virus faster and keep them healthy.

That means 2 of my wife's uncles, one aunt, and 3 of her co-workers are actually still alive, and my younger brother's blood oxygen level didn't drop to 85 and he actually didn't lose his sense of taste & smell and had his kidneys operating at 50%! Wonderful to know. I'm going to call him today and let him know that he didn't spend 3 days in the hospital!

The vaccines do not create variants. We have been over this many times on here. This isnt how it works. In fact all the dominant variants that exist today have come out before the vaccine was released.
