NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

I hope those happy faggits have to watch Atlanta vs Denver! :roflmao:
I wish more people were happy and content with the current playoffs cause a lot of tomorrow's stars are beginning to shine today.

But it seems like a disturbing amount of fans and talking heads don't know what to do with themselves without Lebron and Steph.

The teams don't matter. I watched basketball for a decade and a half without ever giving a fuck about Golden State before they became a great team. If Steph, Klay and Draymond played for the Hawks or Nuggets, it would be those teams with the national following.

It's good for the league for the focus to be spread around a bit.

Agreed. And fuck Jordan, the point was received without mentioned his bitch ass. I legit spend the first 30 seconds trying to figure who is who when i turn on games lately. Shits annoying man. This shit def shouldnt be allowed in the postseason.

I'm a Ewing fan, I rooted against Jordan harder than I ever rooted against LeBron despite your psycho friend's narrative. But that's far and away the most iconic moment in NBA history, so there's no better example to make the point.

I think my number two would be "Imagine the Celtics win their first title in 20 years and they're wearing fucking blue jerseys. And they say Los Celtics." These are unspeakably bad from any perspective but short-term greed!

The teams matter because of the players on the teams that I mentioned.

Actually it shows some teams don’t need no coach

No, it shows that white coaches are the best regardless of experience. Steve Nash will be considered one of the best if he wins a title (see: Steve Kerr from 2015-2019). All the Pops, Riley's, Phil Jax are gone, they tryna create a new crop of white coaches to take over the league. Winning championships is an instant way to give them credibility.

Steph and LeBron obviously aren't the only players who matter. I wish Portland went further because Dame was amazing to watch. The players who matter are the ones who are left, plenty of players like Devin Booker and Donavon Mitchell need to get more attention. Just because Undisputed wants to talk about LeBron everyday doesn't mean that's what's best for the league.

You’re assuming, I didn’t say that Steph and Lebron were the only players that mattered.

Down goes Mitchell. If he goes down Utah is basically done in this series. So many injuries this year :scared:

I hope CPIII and the Player's union fight hard against ever having a short off-season again. We may even need a shorter season overall.

"The teams matter because of the players on the teams that I mentioned" :hmm:

Who the fuck else are you talking about? Be specific or this is a waste of time.

Players fans are familiar with matter. I stated that I wanted Denver and Atlanta to play in the Finals as a joke because fans have no connection to those teams.

You told me that the teams don’t matter.

I stated the teams matter because of the players that are on a team that the public want to see.

You then told me that Steph and Lebron weren’t the only players that mattered.

I wasn’t talking about Steph and Lebron or any players specifically. I simply said if the public doesn’t have any interest in the players on a team, then the general public isn’t interested in watching the games.

Weren't you making a comparison to Phil Jackson by bringing up Tex Winters?

I wasn't questioning, just legitimately asking how you define him and who else of note you would define similarly.

I wasn't
I said Tex winters because shady is a bulls fan and Phil Jackson was the bulls coach

This is why he brought up Steve Kerrs assistants
Because I am a warriors fan

The public didn't care about Steph or KD until they saw them on the big stage. Nobody cared about Golden State 20 years ago or 10 years ago until Steph and the others made them relevant, the way new stars are doing now.

I know that, the new players have to give the general public and reason to watch and care.

Wait .... so KD has personal security to protect him from other NBA players. :eek2:

Kevin Durant's reported personal bodyguard suspended after on-court shove of P.J. Tucker

After running onto an NBA basketball court and shoving a player during a scuffle, a man reported to be Kevin Durant's personal bodyguard has been suspended by the NBA.
The incident happened during the Milwaukee Bucks' Game 3 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. Late in the third quarter, Durant and Bucks forward P.J. Tucker exchanged words after Tucker fouled Durant. The incident quickly escalated, prompting teammates and officials — and a man identified as Durant's bodyguard — to intervene.

A man dressed in all black jumped into the middle of the tussle and shoved Tucker. The Bucks forward then turned his attention to the interloper before officials escorted Tucker to the sideline as the situation de-escalated. According to The Athletic's Joe Vardon, that man is 35-year-old Nets security official Antjuan Lambert.
He's also Durant's personal bodyguard. The Nets hired Lambert at Durant's request, a practice that is not uncommon in the NBA, according to the report.

Lambert banned in Milwaukee by NBA

An NBA spokesperson announced on Saturday that Lambert is banned from the remaining series games in Milwaukee and won't be allowed courtside for games in Brooklyn, according to multiple reports. The NBA reached the decision after conducting an investigation involving both teams.
Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer expressed surprise at Lambert's presence on the court.
“To be completely frank and honest, in the heat of the moment, I have no idea who that guy is with or who he is affiliated with,” Budenholzer said, per The Athletic. “It could be Fiserv Forum security, could be Bucks security, could be Nets security."
Bucks forward Bobby Portis called it "crazy" that Lambert shoved Tucker.
“It’s kind of crazy that he just attacked P.J. and pushed him specifically,” Portis said, per The Athletic. “Most of the time, team security comes in and gets in between everybody, so (he) probably did cross the boundaries with that.
The Nets have not publicly addressed the incident.
Brooklyn lead the series, 2-1 after Milwaukee's Game 3 victory. Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Milwaukee. As of Saturday, the Nets are listed as -2 road favorites to win Game 4 and -375 favorites to win the series at BetMGM despite the continued absence of James Harden.

All four eastern conference teams dealing with injuries. It may come down to who's the healthiest

I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HEARD OF SHIT LIKE THIS. :smh:

I never want to hear anyone else say that the mid range jumper is the worst shot in basketball. Seriously.

Cause the WORST shot in basketball is clearly a 3 on 1 fast break ending with a 3 point shot. In a 3 on 1 cotdammit you drive to the lane. You want 3 points, huh .... force them to foul you and get it the old fashioned way.

Anyone else remember when even if you made that shot, the coach would still call time and read you the riot act when you got to the bench.
I can't stand that shit bruh. It's so fuckin stupid. :smh:

James got one too. Son in the braids works for the Nets now too

That’s weird. On every sports show they keep saying kd and kyrie are just freestyiling and not playing real basket ball. Need receipts on that ?
