Justice League MOVIE Discussion (The SynderCut Drops 3/18/2021)

Just finished watching the movie.

All I can say is DC was down by 25 with 6min left until halftime (going against Marvel)... they just cut it to 10 at the half lol

I was impressed. Still had some flaws but I'm liking the direction especially if they do Darkside and the rest of the villians right.

And right after halftime Marvel scored another td, went for 2 and got it, did an onside kick and recovered on the DC 45. Falcon just got another first down with the first episode and will drop another TD by the end of the series. There ain't no Tom Brady for DC, Kevin Feige is Tom Brady and Belichick combigned, and Jon Favreau is Jordan, pippen, Shaq, Kobe and Phil for Star wars.

It's a superhero movie......everything in it goes against the laws of physics.

Captain America will bounce his shield off of three surfaces and it will come back to him with the same energy that he threw it. That's against the laws of physics. It's so obvious they actually put that line in Civil War.

Don't get me wrong, I love DC but the powers to be don't respect it. Marvel got better when they removed that toy making bitch and made Kevin the man.

If DC had a guy like Dwayne McDuffie in charge they would be in the running but they don't. I was hoping that one of the creators would step up, but so far they haven't. Jeff really didn't fix shit like I thought he would.

JL Animated and JLU Animated are some of the best comic book adaptations of all time. It took the flash seasons before he was using the speedforce like he did in the snyder cut.

DC has already done the death and birth of Superman Frank Miller Batman, Parallax, and fucking flashpoint.

They lost the fight, Superman died again and the flash just reversed it. How can they ever lose when they have infinite do overs? Nothing really matters the way this was set up, and it was set up this way because Synder doesn't fundamentally care or respect the source material. Batman getting raped? Already killed of Dick Grayson so no nightwing? I could go on and on.

These are one off films, not a coordinated universe, or at least not a sustainable one

I hate that doomsday and the death of superman were used in that trash BvS
But I did enjoy this movie.
Time to reboot and give the universe some breathing room.

And the fact that it called out to Steppenwolf - instead of Darkseid sending.

I liked it, but I still think having Steppenwolf actually being able to get at Superman would've made his master Darkseid seemed an even bigger threat.

I'm watching the whedon version and there are some tighter scenes and dialog there and that scene where aquaman is sitting on WW rope and confessing his true feelings is hilarious..IMO that one scene is a keeper...not ALL of the whedon version was shit... but the cuts you suggest are the some ones I was thinking too...

There were many things to like about the Synder Cut.

I liked how it showed the theme/importance(Silas Stone/Henry Allen/Johnathan Kent) of fathers.

Cyborg was the deepest/most well rounded character.

Steppenwolf was better in this cut.

It was good to see some future(The Atom/Martian Manhunter) members.

I just wonder how WB will follow this movie up.

The sequel should bring in the new members(GL too) and have them all fight Luthor's villain team.

After a hard fought battle, Darkseid should attack the JL at their weakest.

WAY better. The movie release version was overall horrid compared to the Snyder version.

I love Batman's reverse energy gauntlets. Always prepared.

There was a scene when they were at the dome and Batman was running. I was like there is NO WAY is ole azz is running that fast...lol... Even if he wasn't recovering from Superman recently almost beating the crap out of him.

Keep in mind that Batman's strength, endurance, and speed is more mental than physical as a world class master ninja. All part of his training under the immortal Ra's al Ghul.

DC needs it's own Kevin Feigie. He seems to be the be all end all of Marvel movies. Like Steph Or Dame Lilliard he has the ultimate green light. They trust that he will make the right decisions each time. For the most part he has. DC has to see what's happened here with this movie. How fans are reacting to it. This is what they want. You can now branch all the characters off if need be into their own worlds. Hell the threat of Thanos was a part of all Marvel movies until it finally happened. Let Darkseid have his real moment in the sun.

Comedy in between action/seriousness can be cool if done properly. With these superhero action films, the comedy attempts are over cooked lately with one movie attempting to out do the other with the comedy routine.
