Bottom line is, Black folks need to talk more and be more about adopting. it used to be a common thing in our communities. i do not know any numbers/stats other than my personal anecdotes, but I have 2 1st cousins who are adopted and there are more in my family and i used to hear of folks being adopted all the time.
