This CAC is suffering from dementia. The sister had to record it so that she could properly report it to her employer as well as the family. Elderly abuse is taken as serious as child abuse. If she would have hit that CAC she would have 100% went to jail. By recording the abuse from the patient, she can possibly receive compensation.

With all due respect, by your logic, there shouldn't be any film or video documentaries made if there are books available. This is flawed reasoning.
I am old enough to remember when the Malcolm X movie came out. The awareness it created was incredible. Yes, all of the factual information that was included in the movie are located in books, including the autobiography. But, providing a visual medium allowed for an easier method for some to digest the information.
