Why do you feel Kofi was an idiot? Seems to me like he was put in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.Fuck this show
The way they've treated and depicted black people
Making Kofi a fucking idiot
that's true, but what was he thinking when he approached the brother? wasn't Kofi protected in there? What did he think was gonna happen after that? i get he wanted to take his chances and see if he could make the brother believe that it wasn't him, but should have gone about it a different way, especially not by going into his cell. Why do you feel Kofi was an idiot? He's guilt ridden, his actions have caused the death of five people he knows about and one he doesn't, everyone doesn't handle guilt the same way.The judges son is fucking annoying.
His pops putting everything on the line to protect him and all this fucker does is bitch and moan.

I forgot about that. I'm sure he didn't know he was going to see Baxter's son, I'm betting Little Mo sent him to that cell.that's true, but what was he thinking when he approached the brother? wasn't Kofi protected in there? Hey he loves his dog. Any man that loves his dog can drink from my canteen any day! Oh the other hand any dog that lets a stranger in my home and then poses for a picture has got to go.He has no redeeming qualities! The writers haven't given me any reason to hope the kids makes it out! I want him to die painfully!

I agree, the home invasion scene wasn't much. I think the judge wants to shield his son from the things he's willing to do.Ha! What did you think of Baxter in the house? It was supposed to be scary but it fell flat to me. I think it's because hasn't done anything yet that makes him scary.
My biggest pet peeves is when movies/shows characters don't talk to each other about important things that affect both of them! That scene of Mike & Adam at the kitchen table should have been a good scene but it was eh for me. Mike needs to talk to Adam like a man tell him what's going on. Like really lay it out on the line and don't leave anything chance.
I binged the first 4 episodes last night and now can't wait until 10 for the 5th. First of all, the setting is in New Orleans, one of the most corrupt cities in the US. Next, the separation of the races is interesting with the Black folks in Desire being very black and poor and at the mercy of the system. The woman lawyer is a mulatto, which means she can swing from either side. This is a very interesting story of crime and race in NOLA, and the rest of Amerika. And, I'm enjoying the interaction of politics and race. Let's keep this thread alive because, upcoming I'm sure

The lawyer and Kofi Jones little brother were eating lunch at Lil Dizzy's.When it comes to "Your Honor", New Orleans is just the setting of the show and nothing else, there are literally no cultural aspects of the city, apart from the funeral scene, being injected into this limited series. This show could take place in Europe and still be 100% the same.
Half of the things that happened in the first episode would never happen because those people would not have been in those areas to begin with and if the Baxter boy would have gotten hit by a car in real life, threats, money and promises would have been given out to make people talk and the whole situation would have been cleaned before the end of the week.
"Your Honor" is not The Wire: New Orleans.

How did you miss that?
i think lil homie will take mob dude outThe Black lady Desire Queen needs to have a name and more background. Is she Lil Moe's mama? Aunt? What're the chances that she can get back at Baxter and them grimy white dudes? How can Baxter just walk into her headquarters and literally take $150K? But, I liked the way she ended the confrontation. And, what role is the Jones boy gonna play in the war to come?
