NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

It seems like he's had those picks the last 15 years and hasn't did anything with them.. Lol
Kevin McHale literally GAVE him KG...GM Doc Rivers lol.
I still gotta see in the playoffs but they are more talented then Milwaukee Boston and Miami, as of right now....
IDK...If you closely observe that Heat squad...they are on the verge of greatness.
I literally said the same thing a while back in this thread. This is not a knock on Curry but I also argued that he's not durable enough to carry such a load. He can't hide on defense, play a lot more minutes and expect him to put up big numbers when more targets are on his back.
The BB gods won’t be happy until he catches the same smoke from the media/dusty niggas as LJ did when his team didn’t make the playoffs...even when he was a injured for weeks. Sad, but only a blood sacrifice will make this right. :)
What team did Kobe carry? Just curious. Didnt Kobe miss the playoffs when he played with less than? What about KG? How many missed playoffs or 1st round exits did he have? What about Paul Pierce? What about Wade? What about Kyrie? What about Ray ? What about PG? What about AD? What about CP? What about Harden? What about Butler? What about Beal? What about etc etc I can go on and on about all star players struggle to "carry" a team. All players struggle if they dont have teammates to play with them. Season aint over yet for GS....
More proof that LJ will go down as the GOAT!!!!

The price to acquire James Harden just went up last night, fellas... and if he keep playing with 30pts/13reb/6ast Christian Wood it'll continue going up...

Like the old people say, gotta strike while the iron is hot.

Even though I really don't want Simmons, Morey is a fool if he doesn't try to get Harden. Look how good he made Wood look last night. People are saying that it wouldn't work with Embiid who's even more skilled than Wood. If I'm Embiid and watched the game last night I'm calling Morey to make that trade happen.

Sexton is a killer. I've been trying to tell folks for two years now...
Why doesn't anyone like Sexton? He puts up numbers, yet folks just write him off. I hope he proves all of them wrong. Because if folks remember, Kyrie put up numbers and couldn't get any fucking Ws until Bron came. Hope he becomes like Dame up in Portland. Make them fucking respect his game.

who are these folks? Sexton is a nice player.

The major Rockets accounts on twitter are all like "fuck him let him be unhappy I'm unhappy too we can all be miserable together if he keep putting up numbers like that... you CANNOT trade him." Part of me is with that but the other part is like, rip the bandaid offand get it over with... honestly I'm cool either way...

The only weakness I saw in Wood and the biggest takeaway between his game and AD game was defensive presence. There were times where he was late on his rotation, didn't have his teammates backs when they forced the ball handler right to him, or straight getting bullied by Nurkic. I think Boogie will handle Nurkic or big centers like that but the other two things he has to get better at.

That one hand alley he caught, the coast to coast two hand dunk him and Harden in the PnR and just taking his man off the dribble as they closed out at him on the 3 point line is fuckin SCARY. Christian Wood is going to be a problem in this league for years to come.

But it's crazy the lack of respect Harden gets. His game last night would likely be a career night for everybody these teams don't want to trade for him. And all he's gonna do is come out Monday and do it again.

Oh one more thing... Tate looks and plays like a better, more skilled PJ Tucker... no wonder they don't want to offer Tuck that extension... don't need him getting in the way of Tate's development.

Yeah Wood's weakness is his defense but offensively he's a problem for the league. You're exactly right about Tucker, we might as well ship him with Harden because Tate is his younger clone. That kid played great defense and hustled all night.

Man we got some pieces with this team with or without Harden. If we had Wall, Cousins, Mclemore & Gordon last night this would have been an easy W. I can already tell that Silas will have this team in top 5 in offense but its the defense I'm worried about.

They brought over Tate's coach from Australia, Will Weaver and he's supposed to be a good defensive coach. I think between him, Lucas and Silas they'll figure it out, there will be adjustments made in game and definitely at half time that MDA bum ass wouldn't even dream of making. I think they'll get better on that side of the ball but I'm not expecting them to be as advanced on defense as they will be on offense. Just be in the top half of the league defensively and we're good.

And you're right if we were healthy last night we'd have washed Portland... this team is 11 deep:

Harden/Wood/Tucker/House
Wall/Boogie/Nwaba/Gordon
Brown/Tate/Mclemore

Harden, Silas, Stone and Tillman gotta go into a room, close the door, and stay in there until they work SOMETHING out because this team is good without Harden but can be special with him.

Im sorry but how in the hell did he deserve this?

He was a part owner, not sure if he is again

and he helped bring Lebron

Hell JR Smith, Waiter and Giannis brother got rings

But organizations...the good ones normally give a ring or a downsized version to everyone from announcers to team beat writers.

Fuckin Drake got a ring last year

You may like and enjoy basketball but to ask that question about Kobe?

You need to seriously go back and look at
Kobe’s stats, ASAP! None of those other players you mentioned are two time MVP’s so they’re not in this discussion.

So because a bunch of mofos were enamored with Curry's play to vote him as MVP somehow elevates him to the extent that he doesn't need other players to not only win but make the playoffs, etc? You missed the point the guy was making, You toss out Kobe (knowing full well that HE was the offense, not a facilitator and never passed the ball -lol) as if to say Kobe did why not Steph? Kobe Bryant? Talk about raising the fuckin' bar at an attempt to make a point.

Which leads me to the obvious question. That lil' nigga was overlooked in High School. Recruited by Davidson. Was questioned from Day 1 about his ability to actually BE a PG. Played for GS and didn't start winning shit (especially out West) until they drafted Klay and Draymond. Nobody was checkin' for this lil' dude and NOW muthafuckas actually go out of their way to discredit the shit he's accomplished. Other than the obvious LeBron dick riders on the board how exactly does he inspire THAT kind of contempt and questionable critique? (General question. Not saying you do that shit but you sure as hell see it.) I've seen it all. Ther reasons range from because he had a successful Dad. He grew up around players. So did the Jordan boys. Where the fuck are they? All that DNA and opportunity yet you don't see their asses shooting right? Shit is just interesting.

Hell I joke around with King T and his disdain for light-skinned niggas (it's a strange as fuck kind of hate but to each his own) but I'm starting to think THIS shit ain't got nothing to do with basketball for a LOT of folks and maybe all the other stuff is just "stuff". . Curry's success seems to get dudes in their feelings as if it's a threat against anything brown, black or poor. Crazy shit Bruh. Reminds me of Martin Lawrence. His name was Pretty Ricky Fontaine. (lol)

The GOAT conversation ended ages ago. Now it's all about who has had the best career versus ability, ability to win, ability to close. We know who that guys is without mentioning his name.

Due to Steph facing Lebron in the Finals and winning against him in the Finals (That’s a diff story and a discussion) they’re unfairly compared to each other. Yes they play different positions and perform different functions for their teams but...

I already said it was an unfair comparison, but it’s going to be there. And since it’s there, many wonder if Curry’s the chosen one and beats Lebron. Then why can’t Curry’s teams perform when a player or two is injured like Lebron’s team?

Again, it’s an unfair comparison but it’s there.

Jr Smith, Waiters and Giannis brother were actually on the team.

Even Drake has a made up but official title on the Raptors.

But more importantly none of these peeps got on a national tv tour to bash their team's front office and quit on the team.

Thats all Im saying.

How does dude get rewarded for quitting?

Not like he quit during the year. He quit the previous year.

When you collude with LeBron James and Maverick to not only get James to LA but also get Anthony Davis (who is still under contract) to join the Lakers you should get even more than that. It's the equivalent of Pat Riley (ironic isn't it) colluding with LeBron, Wade and Bosh to get them to Miami. What's the adage? If you ain't cheatin' you ain't trying. (Not that it's cheating because it isn't.) Magic deserves a ring. Hell, I'm still pissed Tony Dungy wasn't given one when Chuckie walked his ass on as Coach of a championship caliber Tampa Bay team but hey, I hold grudges.

I don't get it at all. Why would anyone do that? Because Curry won? Like you said, him winning didn't lead you to make that comparison. The same holds true for me. I guess that's why I believe this shit has to be personal. Usually folks root for the lil' dude; the underdog. Frankly the only person who isn't an underdog facing LeBron is KD. Just saying.....
