Drummond is a pain in the ass no question.
If he stops acting like he's a point guard and puts 100% effort into playing defense,he would be a good player. I actually like Drummond but he drives me crazy..
Why doesn't anyone like Sexton? He puts up numbers, yet folks just write him off. I hope he proves all of them wrong. Because if folks remember, Kyrie put up numbers and couldn't get any fucking Ws until Bron came. Hope he becomes like Dame up in Portland. Make them fucking respect his game.
Most of the hate comes from fans that wanted Shai Gilegeous-Alexander in that draft yet ignore he told the Cavs not to show up to his workout...Why would you want the Cavs to draft a player that doesn't want to be here.
It makes no sense. And,then you had veterans on the team that was telling the press that Sexton couldn't playing early in his rookie season.(I'm suspecting it was Love and Clarkson but I'm not sure). I know Tristan had a little issue with Sexton during his rookie season but it was mostly about Sexton taking too much mid-range shots.
On top of all of that,he's not the flashiest player in the league. He competes but fans want to see flashiness like they did with Kyrie even though all that flashiness never won the Cavs games before Lebron arrived.
You even have some fans want the organization to trade most of the young pieces to get Harden,which makes no fucking sense at all
I’ve always liked Sexton, he goes hard on offense and defense and talks that shit!
I watched alot of his old videos and he doesn't talk trash as much as his did in high school.
He just scores and be on his way for the most part...
Generally speaking. Swear Cavs drafted Garland and already folks had Sexton on the bench. Sports writers right now have to deal with fans asking if Sexton should be the 6th man.
Brian Fathorst was on this Cavs podcast in October. He said that alot of NBA executives views Sexton as a sixth man.
It's crazy,how a guy that improved in every season of his career gets the sixth man label. It makes no sense at all.
They should have allowed Sexton to develop as a point guard instead of drafting Garland last season.

Agreed, he’s intelligent and knew that he couldn’t come into the league talking trash. That would put a target on himself and lead to unnecessary bs that he wouldn’t want to deal with.
His focus is on being the best player that he can be and that anger and drive is internal.
Fans may hate him but the organization supports him and building the team around him. I just hope the stupid ass owner don't do anything stupid like trade away most of the young pieces to get an already established superstar.

I don't think either is Ja Morant, and neither is a big guard who can play the two.
If the Mavs stayed in the locker room and let the Clippers play the entire 3rd quarter I still don’t think the Clippers could come back.
Take the 2nd and 3rd and 4th and 5th best players off the Lakers and replace them with bench players and one solid player. See how LBJ performs then in the west.

They wanted SGA in that draft instead of Sexton,even though SGA told the Cavs not to go to his workout before the draft. They feel the Cavs should have drafted him anyways.
The Cavs take in-person workouts very seriously. If,they haven't seen you in person,the team will most likely won't draft you.
What's crazy,Sexton is probably the third best player in that draft behind Trae and Luka...

Many like to talk about Lebron’s Finals winning percentage as a negative on his career not realizing that his team was the underdog in most of his Finals appearances.
Why the hate on Lebron when he’s the underdog? Lebron’s teams were the underdogs so why does he get so much hate? He was the underdog so they should be rooting for him instead of labeling him as a loser in the Finals.
As far as Steph, people eventually turn on you when you become too successful.
