Mullens Time!!!!!!
Watch mullens work
Watch this offense
The funny thing is, Mullens will look for the WR‘s and not rush things. I just hope his mechanics help him make the throws we need him to make.
I have faith in Nick. We know what he can do. The team around him is better than it was in 2018. We can keep things moving along nicely until Jimmy gets back.

Quarterback Differences:

Training camp Jimmy G:

Whenever he was under center, turned his back to the defense to run play action
He would usually throw a pick (almost all of his picks happened in that exact situation)
Seems like he needs extra time to scan over & read the defense
There were plays like this last year where he would not see the underneath defender, etc, etc

Week #1 Jimmy G:
Dude was playing scared & nervous out there (or it could've been a lot of rust)
But anyone notice a large majority of the game he was in the shotgun formation?
Could've been Shanny was trying to give him more time to scan the field
And also maybe with that new center, he was giving Jimmy more time to call protections, line calls
But that shit didn't even look like Shanny's regular offense

In addition to that quite a few of his throws had no zip on it
Mofo was just throwing up ducks
Garnt Cohn pointed out Jimmy's bad mechanics during this game & in camp)
He's not transferring his weight properly
And not planting his left leg (the one he had surgery on)
When he throws its mostly all arm

Week #2 Jimmy G:
After he got his ankle rolled up, I noticed dude started throwing better, LOL
Why? Because that ankle sprain was on his right leg
So it actually forced him to transfer his weight to the left leg & follow through properly

Week #2 Nick Mullens:
What I noticed was that Shanny started doing more plays under center again
Under center play action, bootlegs, rollouts, etc, etc
Why? Because I think Mullens scans the field & reads defenses better/faster than Jimmy
They both don't really have a strong arm
But I think Mullens is more cerebral & a better decision maker, where as Jimmy is more instinctive

Mullens is decisive that's most important.

@CurtDawg - Bruh, I noticed the exact same thing. I was thinking, where was this the past 6 quarters. I mean, the 1st play for Mullens was play-action under center. Unreal.

I liked the play to Trent Taylor on the sideline. It was a great read. He missed the throw but it was good seeing a throw outside the numbers that wasn’t short.
