$TNXP ran to $2.46....still over $2...should be in the green if purchased or held from yesterday

GODDAMN!

...I sold yesterday afternoon at $1.55 :fuckyousay: Of course right after I sold the shit goes HAM, but I got shook because there had been no chatter all day. Oh well, I closed in the green *shrugs*

Holy shit that was quite the first options experience :beat:. PETS was not the one!! That shit took me for a ride and jacked me for $23. However, I got some real world experience on what not to do and some limits to Webull. 1st not having real time quotes is a huge drawback as I couldn't see exactly where prices were without jumping between platforms. 2nd it only let me put in bids in at intervals of 5 WTF it made me over bid on shit. 3rd Definitely wait on confirmation the stock is going up because you can just jump in on the freefall. I'm finished for today lol. Just have unsettled cash left and dont want to get stuck in a position watching my premium fade away.

Edit: I jumped back in! Either I’m a glutton for punishment or 3 times the charm....I’ll report back.

Damn... but like you said: learning experience. And big ups for sharing, this expedites the learning curve for folks like me..

I completed that paper trade with the MSFT option...sold the call to close and would have made a profit of $227 (I chose Market instead of Limit just to up my chances of completed the transaction in a timely fashion, but I see that ppl usually say to do a mid limit instead.). Thanks again to @Tito_Jackson for the guidance. This really brought to light the possibility of a quick come up in these situations.

..but like you said: its still important to do your absolute best to pick based on some of the same factors, like strongly believing the price will go up..which is way easier to do when you pick GOOD companies that happen to dip momentarily (like TJ suggested). Or for stocks that you actually want to own. I did another call for NIO that I wish was live, because I would consider buying the stock anyway... I may actually look into that if the price is right...

Yea volatile stocks can get scary but it was good to see you can get in and out as long as the stock is liquid. The limits on what price I could put in really forced me to take a bigger loss than I needed too. I lost an extra $5 just on that.

Another thing was PETS had a high delta so while it has a greater likelihood of being in the money it also shifts a lot per every dollar move so I was seeing prices go back and forth on every change.

$MTP...crazy play

Update: pharma stock that surged with a +2K turnover percentage

After MSFT run up yesterday that $205 call was deep ITM. Huge profits. Tito knows his shit. I’m back in PETS option. Stock has stabilized and slowly going up. We’ll see how round 3 goes.

Word...Good luck man. I almost went in on a $2 call for GNUS, but ended up cancelling it. I'm gonna let some of my trades settle and do some due diligence in the meantime

Thanks, Id be terrified with GNUs and it’s spikes and drops with an option unless there was impending news and a long timeframe.

My biggest lesson from today though is that I ignored the advice I got from a video I watched the other day. The guy said pay more attention to the underlying stock and don’t get caught up with the price fluctuations of the option. I jumped in when I clearly didn’t have confirmation that the stock was going up. I just saw the option price rising quickly and I bought in and paid too much. I also based my exit on option price only without considering all of the things I expected the stock to do including its daily swings. Right now I’m net zero on this 3rd go around but the stock is rising. I’m gonna be even better on my next one.

I bought into GNUS sub $2. Going to sit on it until they get some more fluff press.

..yea I thought better of it...it seemed like a decent idea but I couldn't fully convince myself

I have a few shares and may add some more if it's still down too. Just want sure about buying that option just yet..

See the jump?

Also...MXC looks good AH
MXC flying now. I’m up at 4am now on Webull every morning. I’ve learned the early bird really does get the worm. Unfortunately I just put all my settled cash In Webull into an order for JAMF. Just got listed today. I can’t make anymore moves until E*TRADE opens at 8:30.

...ended up buying a call option with NIO..Aug 20 $12 strike. We'll see how this goes.

Word new car plus if Tesla earnings is good it should fly along with it. You might be out by Mon :money:

Maan, hope so. I tried to push the exp far enough to do damage but tried not to risk too much for the premium since its my first rodeo. Its hella hard finding comfortable scenarios but its def interesting..

Thank you GNUS for the fluff news. Sold before the bell to hit my daily quota.

I feel that, PETS is whipping me around right now. I figured the recovery would take a week. If nothing happens or it spikes up then I’ll just exit. I’m gonna stop looking at it like a day trade.

I’m so glad my order for JAMF at 26 did not go through. That turned out to be a massacre lol

Just bought 10 shares of NIO. I hope im not too late to profit. Reports have it. That NIO a bad investment now
I’m in it with you. We shall see. Tesla earnings should help plus they unveil their new car at the car show tomorrow / over weekend. 2 catalysts we’ll see what it does. A lot of people have shorted it and China news not helping but it will break through eventually.
