Am I the only one that thinks the Lakers need shooters and not athletes?

Only real threat is Green...KCP maybe... but that's it... can't even put Bradley in that category

Y'alls 2 losses aren't necessarily the result of small Ball either. Russ didn't play against Phoenix so who knows how that would've gone if he was there and of course tonight was a buzzer beater so it wasn't like you guys were outplayed. Small ball success for y'all is predicated on having your two MVP's out there and playing well.

I don't want to see y'all in the playoffs with this small ball bullshit(yes I'm hating lol) because if those 3's are hitting....it won't matter if Jokic dominates in the paint. The Nuggets are AWFUL at running folks off the 3 point line and y'all will EAT. This shit might get y'all to the WCF with the right matchups I think.
Nah they really weren't... when Phoenix came out that first quarter and hit 27 of 30, 8 of 10 from 3 I just turned the TV off them niggas was on FIRE!

Here's what I've noticed... since going small they've all been hustling more on defense... hands are active... trying to post is pointless because they trap IMMEDIATELY and often times force a turnover... can recover good after trapping the post... and D'antoni is actually coaching and making adjustments.

Utah put Gobert on Westbrook... he sagged off of him giving Russ the mid range shot but nothing in the paint... so after a timeout, D'antoni had Harden bring the ball up then had Russ set the screen and then roll real quick to the basket. That was smart. Russ' man was likely gonna stay with the trap leaving him open to attack the basket or drive and kick... or the big man was called for a foul because he plowed through the screen Russ set for Harden.

But then Russ can always do this...

Bullying a legit 7 footer and DPOY winner :smh:

Korkmaz wilin' out again. :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

I could troll right now but that would be too easy.

I just want to see if this team can evolve further cause right now it's looking like fools gold. Maybe playoff Rondo will show up.

shit I often wonder if Quinn Cook and Troy Daniels are the best long range shooters on the rosters but they get litttle run....

I know Cook can fucking shoot, I like his confidence

Low key this small ball is growing on me... although we've lost 2 of the last 3, we beat the bigger Lakers and if not for that buzzer beater we'd have beaten a big Utah team as well. We're not getting killed on the boards, have tons of space to drive to the hoop, and the defense seems to have gotten better.

Covington was a good pickup

The offense is not an issue and Russ is playing arguably his best ball of his career in this system.

The issue is on the defensive end & them knowing their assignments when switching so much. I seen a couple lapses last night with Russ & Harden talking about it on a time out.

The got like 30 more games to work that shit out before the playoffs.
