SNOWFALL FX discussion thread

My 2 favorite parts was when Wanda knocked her ass out in the rink and the camera shot was up her skirt right between the asscheeks....I mean dead up in the crack.

Then when Franklin was throwin her ass in the car...nice upskirt panty shot there.

Oh yeah when Mel bust Wanda upside the head outside the house.lol

There was a whole scene in which you saw a bunch of young kids smoking rock casually like it's weed. If that scene is taking place in 1983 or 84, it hasn't sunk in (at least widespread) that crack is not just another party drug.

You are looking at 1983-84 thru 2019-20 eyes.
:smh:
at certain parties you will still see that same casual shit playing out today with meth crack or heroin (the shit coming in now is so pure it can be sniffed smoked or swallowed)
glue, aerosol etc etc -

not every user becomes a fiend -
and those casual users and new users are the best recruiters

People were still getting introed and then hooked on crack in the late 90s
while partying

Sad as this episode was it kind of made me miss the days you could buy just about anything for 20 or less from a geeker.

Man, buddy told Reed about his wife. Looks like she bout to get Franklin to save him :smh:

Manboy is actually becoming useful
Once Leon gets over the wanda thing it'll be different between them. He even apologized about Wanda to Leon

As we get to season 4, I can see Manboy becoming a major player. He got the style to be a boss, he earning, & becoming trusted. I think he & Leon will get cool as well.

Andre still buddy buddy with the white cop after he said to him “I don’t know how you live with these animals “
That's the strong indoctrination that Black cops accept from white cops. "You're not like them. You're better than them. It's us against them."
The acceptance is either a deep-rooted need to retaliate for something in the past or the cop is just severely misguided about how to make a difference in the community.
Anyway you put it, it's a mental illness.

The episode was arguably the best this season, but me and my cousin had a laugh at how damn bitch in 12hours of smoking crack you was damn near ready to suck dick for it. :roflmao:

And All Franklin had to do was say to his mom "she on rock" and she knew what that meant.

no doubt, especially when the lil sis told the cop, how when they broke down her grandmothers door, the crackheads came and stole her t.v...

before crack there was a time, the community wouldve gotten together and got her a t.v and fixed her door...

junkies are never to be trusted... but a fuckin crack junkie is on a whole new level of untrust...

if they aint willin to leave that shit alone you better leave them alone..

unless of course you about that crackhead life...

the crazy shit is... dudes be fuckin them crackheads...not like when they just gettin on it and still fine..

but like when they all crusty in the street... muthafuckas still be pullin up...

disgusting

crazycac50?

It's just a screen name so just chill out. It's a trip how this episode brought back so many memories of the late 80's early 90's. I wasn't a street dude but i grew up around the streets and lost a bunch of homies to the game. Once crack hit down here our world turned upside down.

Deep episode and I agree it was intense. Thought for a second Franklin was gonna find Mel in a worse way.

I see this episode show both Franklin and Andre the damage they have done from their actions. Andre using the force to kick in doors and beat up innocent people. Now he is seeing how it has caused a rift in the community. Franklin thought only drug addicts got addicted and Mel was above that life. This is gonna fuck with his psyche for a while.

Don't sleep on Leon. Yeah he still gets hurt about Wanda but he is starting to accept it now. He been through the pain and denial parts. In fact, I think he can see the clearest out of all of them.

Agree that Manboy's value is about to get bigger.

Something about that youngin, that wants to be put on, rubs me the wrong way.

Wanda is the biggest liability to Franklin and his org. She is so far gone she would snitch (to the cops or a rival) for half a rock.
