Shit happened to me... with some dude trying to ask me for a ride... I promptly declined. Dude said to hell with you and him and his buddy jacked me for my horse.. I already had my Arrow out cause as Usual I was hunting and I hit both them mutherfuckers with two old glories like..

lol I don’t stop for none of these dudes begging for help...I don’t do that shit in real life and I’m pretty sure the 1899 version of me wouldna did that shit neither lol...maybe later in the game I might once I become more proficient w/ my firearms...that way I can take em down quick if they on some fuck shit

that’s crazy...I stumbled upon a cabin in the woods (no pun intended) that had a bunch of decayed skeletons up in that bitch and some eerie score came on...it was daytime tho and I quickly got the fuck out of there...grabbed some spell/potion shit...wonder if it’s related

Safety Tip >> Watch out for them Cougars/ Mountain Lions. They are a PROBLEM. 
Be sure to have a full ‘Dead Eye’ meter BEFORE you try to engage them... because their ‘closing speed’ is ridiculous.
They will LEAP from a crazy far distance... land right on your jugular... and they will body you in less than 3 seconds, if you miss. Just saying.
Oh yeah, one more tip >> you can use your ’Eagle Eye’ hunting vision both indoors & outdoors... to search for (glowing) items / money / valuables in foootlockers, cabinets & drawers, or at camp sites.
This will save you a lot of time instead of opening everything up & finding nothing.

You really should help people. It pays in most cases to help. One guy gives who is snake bitten gives you a free gun on his tab in the gun store. Others give you info on a treasure or a place worth robbing.

these are the instructions I followed...it was pretty easy...to make it work...I had to pay off my damn bounties beforehand tho...had about $500 on my head between 2 regions

I did the glitch below a 2nd time so I have over $30k now...I’m not sure how many times you can do it but I felt a bit guilty the 2nd time around lol...if it was online I wouldn’t give a fuck tho...but anyway @ least I have guaranteed $$$ for bounties and ammunition

Cuz if they hit you with that Zone Blitz... that FOOTSPEED is what you will remember most when you are getting stabbed up (especially if you never saw them red dots closing in on your radar

traveling by horse isn’t bad @ all imo...I’ve unlocked the stagecoach fast travel but I don’t use it...in hindsight tho I’m glad I did the glitch...it’s kind of unfair that the mission payouts have been so low and in some cases warranted a bounty that was far more costly

And you will unlock Fast travel..
It’s worth it..
You can travel to every town you have found.
So it forces you to go travel around but then it’s makes it easier to travel to spots that are the farthest on the Map
But like it’s said... traveling by horse is fucking fun.
I have rarely used fast travel. All you need is the best horse.
I go on my first hunt, trying to get a bear. I follow the tracks up the hill and then they just stop. I'm like wtf the tracks go? The fucking bear was behind a bush 20 feet in front of me. You know how that ended.
You have to remember to activate your eagle eye... every time you are on a hunt.
I will activate eagle eye when I don’t have enough dead eye in a fight because it will still temporarily slow down the action to give me just enough time to orientate myself.
ok...then I’m about to unlock that then...I upgraded everything in the camp and then seen a map that arthur wanted in the ledger but I was too tired and figured I’d buy it later...I’m assuming that’s the fast travel map...I like riding the horse around for now tho since everything is still so new...found an “indian” reservation last nite...the game disarms you when enter their land...it was near nite tho so I didn’t see anyone...I take it R* will probably not let you commit violence against them and vice versa for politically correct reasons...I’ve ridden along the dakota river from top to bottom several times tho
Had some random come stumbling out the woods screaming for help all bloody and shit. He asked me to take him to Saint Denis for help and I hadn't made it to that city yet so I took him. The whole ride he keeps passing out but we get there and doc tells him his arm is too far gone he has to amputate. Hes trying to tell the doc no but he gives him a shot that puts him out, tells me to leave I dont want to see this but I stay and watch him saw this dudes arm off blood everywhere. I'm loving this game
