My girl and I have Samsung phones. She has the Note 8 and I have the S9+. Like clock work, both phones are acting up at the same damn time. My main concern is with the Note 8. She sat the phone in the cup holder next to her water bottle on the way home from work. A bit of water splashed over and pooled in the bottom of the cup holder where the device was sitting. The phone is now dead (except it vibrates every 5 seconds when you try to turn it on). The phones are still under warranty and I do have Insurance on them through sprint($250 deductible) I told Sprint that I wasn't trying to use my insurance on a phone that advertises water resistance up to 5 feet for 30 min and is still under warranty.
Long story short. Sent the phone in to Samsung, they kept it for a week and sent it back saying:
We regret the were unable to complete the repair of your Samsung product. After performing a thorough examination of your device, it has found to be un-repairable, due to liquid damage.
If you have further questions or need additional support please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 1-800-SAMSUNG with your service ticket number XXXXXXX.
Just got off the phone with them and they said warranty covers everything but physical damage and water damage.

Please someone let me know what I need to do at this point. I have a $1,000 paper weight.
Oh and I was going to send my S9+ in because the bitch wont stay on unless its charging or being used. Went through all the trouble shooting with it too..no luck.
