:rolleyes2:
Let me guess. You aren't shit unless you set the EPL on fire.
Quality is quality man....

 Yup.

Plus French football is damn near breeding ground for the Premier League and has been for the better part of 20 years. Mbia, Sow, Bakayoko, Dembele, Brahimi, Gourcouf.. some great names coming from Rennes and that's just one team.

In all honesty, I think its gonna be a wrap for Senegal. Outside of their last goal from the fullback, all of their goals have been on some fluke shit. They haven't shown enough to make me think that they can score from build up play against a top team.
I hope they prove me wrong lol
I can see that. They got good depth though so I'm banking on Cisse using that depth as the ace up his sleeve to freshenin up that rotation.

why you keep mentioning the EPL lol. when we talk about the french league we talk about clubs, like PSG, Monaco and OM. this player plays at rennes against players from Bayern, juventus, Spurs. what did you expect to happen? quality is quality but you have levels in that.

those players had to make a move first to be noticed. French is my favourite league as far individual players goes. but it is what it is.

The next Zidane they said
He was actually the truth until his injury at Lyon. He hasn't been the same since.

Because every time someone tries to shit on a Ligue 1 player, they bring up English football like its the end all be all
You mention Marseille, PSG and Monaco (Lyon is still a top club btw lol), but ive seen him dish out work to all those squads
His game is based on skill and agility....but he's a white man approaching his mid 30s. That explains his decline.
Im not debating that there are levels, and I never said he was world class. But to write someone off just because they don't play for a Champions League squad? I dont understand the logic.
Put a prime Grosicki on this Poland squad and I guarantee you that he would've created a few shots on goal for Lewandowski.

No they didn't
I can name plenty more who made big moves from Ligue 1

Man Lyon is my preferred French club of choice and back then, Gourcuff would light it up, however brief at the summit. Him and Revilliere feeding the shit outta Gomis with Bastos behind them for insurance... magic.

Those injuries though, (some 20+ I believe) set his career way of course. I wonder what would've become of him had it not gone down that way.

Someone said it in this thread, the forwards for a lot of these teams are frauds, midfielders pretending to be strikers. Shot selections are really poor in this iteration, it's so infuriating. Know when to pass and and when to shoot. If you don't have Ronaldo (Brazil) or Ronaldinho, pass to the open areas and not in the congested spots and that's what Russia is doing.
Egypt/KSA...thats a game you watch when there's a gun to your head.
