The Golden State Warriors are officially the 2018 NBA champions after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals and the celebration has officially begun. The Warriors celebrated in style, dousing each other with champagne, and according to Darren Rovell that champagne cost Warriors a small fortune.

According to Rovell, the Warriors celebrated the title with “300 bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne — including 150 limited edition Moët Impérial Golden Luminous Magnum Bottles and 150 limited edition Moët Nectar Rose Public School Luminous Magnums.” The total retail value of those 300 bottles is over $400,000, about the price of two Lamborghini Gallardos.

LeBron James says he 'pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand'

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James played the last three games of the NBA Finals with a significant and "self-inflicted" right hand injury following the team's Game 1 overtime loss in Oakland.

Sources told ESPN that the injury was the result of James' punching a blackboard in the locker room after that game.

"I let the emotions get the best of me and pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand," James said following Friday's Game 4 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

James had two MRIs during the series and wore a soft cast when he wasn't practicing, playing or in view of the media, sources said, so as not to give the Warriors a competitive advantage.

He appeared with the cast during his news conference after Friday's game.

Windhorst says LeBron punched blackboard after Game 1
Brian Windhorst explains that LeBron James fought through a right hand injury in the NBA Finals after punching a blackboard after Game 1.

James scored 51 points in the game, going 7-of-16 from the field on shots from 10 feet and out in Game 1. He struggled shooting from such distances in the remaining three games, going a collective 5-of-19. His average shot distance, meanwhile, went from 12.6 feet in Game 1 to 10 feet in Game 2, 9 feet in Game 3 and 4.7 feet in Game 4, per ESPN Stats & Information.

James described that Game 1 loss as "very emotional" for him.

"For a lot of different reasons," he said. "Understanding how important a game is on the road for our ball club, what [winning it] would have done for us. The way we played, the calls that were made throughout the course of that game, and I had emotions that the game was taken away from us. I had emotions that you just don't get an opportunity like this on the road against Golden State to be able to get a Game 1."

I believe it. Shit. It's crazy that he didn't break that hand on JR's face. Then the refs?!??! He should have been fined a record amount in sports for that replay fuckery.

Just damn. :smh:

Did u watch the game? why do u think they have tons of driving lanes that are wide open? Because he bends the defense like no other player in the league. KD stats go up when he plays with Steph, all advanced stats, all efficiency stats; and they go down when Steph doesn't play. Steph is the reason for GS; he's the engine, everyone knows that. The shots he takes and makes are ridiculous and never before been done with this precision and aggression... t mac :giggle:nigga please....

Answered no questions. Good night.

He's top offensively because he stretches the floor. Hilarious

Warriors adding Durant would have been like the Lakers or the Celtics adding Jordan in 87. The Bad Boyz Pistons would have never happened.

Then them niggas should have did it

Steph already ruined 3 franchises in the west before KD even got there don't forget that lol
Niggas was CLOSE and then they said we gotta reboot.

Robert Horry got more rings than Michael Jordan. What's your point?

This is the 1 and only time I'll ever respond to you

Your entire COUNTRY produces nothing but charmin soft 4 ply tissue paper hearted ass niggas

Nigga fuck you. The Warriors are lucky to have gotten soft ass Kevin Durant. This dude really joined the team that beat him smh. It does not get any softer than that.

Even in a final blowout loss.... where both teams completely cleared their benches...

Kerr plays every single guy on the team. (like he should )
Meanwhile, Tyronne leaves ONE single guy on the bench for the entire game - Jordan Clarkson.

He gave Clarkson a "DNP Coach's Decision" for absolutely no good reason. :smh:

WHY???? :smh:

That's inexcusable. :smh: The season is over. It's garbage time.
What the hell are you 'saving' HIM for? :dunno:

The guys's an idiot.

:hithead:

He's the coach, he knows things behind the scenes that we don't. I doubt he is an idiot. I think he is what Shaq said about Stan Van Gundy...he's a "Master of Panic".

I'm glad Nick Young got a ring. That's literally the only positive takeaway I got from this series.

I did not want fucking Cavs/Warriors IV. I fell asleep on G1 and G4. I didn't even watch Game 2.

I wanna feel bad for Lebron, but at the same time, he picked these niggas. The GM Lebron experiment should be over. He needs to leave.

Maybe even go West. Because having cake walks to the Finals in the East is starting to backfire because suddenly everybody now cares about Finals records.

Going to LA is an L. People still acting like PG13 is the nigga he used to be, he's not. Lonzo ain't shit. The other guys ain't ready. And throwing in emo ass Boogie in there after a leg injury does not help.

Houston. I don't like Lebron and D'Anchovy together, the way he went away from what worked against the Warriors in the WCF. D'Antoni don't need Lebron, he needs the entire non-Warrior 3pt contest participants to beat the Warriors via chucking.

Sixers and Celtics (if Kyrie is down),as it stands right now, are his best options.

But personally, I would like to see the Pelicans make some moves to get Lebron and Davis together.
