0fficial 2017-2018 NBA Postseason Thread....NBA Finals Cavs vs Warriors 0-4(dubs back 2 back champs)

Fuck Steph.

That's a super team?
Yeah that's a super team when you are playing against Mugsy Bogues, Kendall Gill, Mitch Richmond, Hershey Hawkins Mitch Richmond Chris Mullins. Guards in the NBA during Jordan Bulls run in the 90s were ass. That is the only time period we can discuss Jordan career. Anything prior to 90s he got beat up by Detroit and Boston.

Blame the media... wasn’t they talkin that only chips matter?

Besides Curry’s early ankle issues along with the cap going up and then drafting Klay and Dray pretty much set up GS to get Durant..

Nigga wasn’t trying to be like Barkley and them lol

Yea that's how we was cheering "let's go Heat"

Even Magic said Lebron has to win title to be consider a top 5 players....

Fuck KG said He wish he wouldve left earlier.....this was before Lebron even left

Nobodies top ten. Nobody. Unless you get cut at supercuts.

Curry is that dude. He's great. But nobody has him in their top ten historically.

That's what I was arguing with some dudes earlier today, trying to couple him with Lebron.

Then you can say, okay, three championships, as of tonight. Still not there dude. Not even the best player on his team. He went cold and they still won.
I never said top 10. Top 20 for sure. And he's a player that completely changed the game. Top 10 offensive player though...

Would you rather have him or Stockton or Nash?

Because I can't think of 10 point guards better

of course it doesn't really matter after Magic :dunno:
Exactly... right now there's only 2 I might take over him. Zeke and Magic. Everyone else is debatable for sure ....

Shit I've been on some what SAS have to say lately....was a fan years back....but the hell with his screaming ass
Yea Mask... His takes make less and less sense as he goes on. He talks more about Bron not being MJ than he does about actual game analysis and both teams. Shits crazy.

How sway? Dude has to be hot to hit 30. T-Mac probably did more damage. Hell Klay got 60 on my Pacers. 60 points? Who does that?

Again, Curry is great. Can kill you in an instant, Sniper status.

LeBron Paul George DeMarcus Cousins is going to sign with the Pelicans with Anthony Davis LeBron going to take the mid-level exception with Rondo at the point . This is the most far-out theory that I can think of that could beat the Warriors LOL

actually chris brossard said this one day while talking with shannon and skip......but said he'd don't know know Lebron in Nola can work money wise but that would be a interesting squad

that why Lue job is so fucking hard, this ninja Lebron don't want to do all that moving. yes I do know but don't meant that scheme work vs what y'all been doing...motion is designed to get easy attempts...Lebron works hard for his points.....

The stuff about his legacy being hurt by this sweep doesn't make sense to me even if they win a game they still would have lost the Series and he is still 3/6 in the finals .he's still the second best I've ever seen after Michael Jordan.

Did u watch the game? why do u think they have tons of driving lanes that are wide open? Because he bends the defense like no other player in the league. KD stats go up when he plays with Steph, all advanced stats, all efficiency stats; and they go down when Steph doesn't play. Steph is the reason for GS; he's the engine, everyone knows that. The shots he takes and makes are ridiculous and never before been done with this precision and aggression... t mac :giggle:nigga please....

@Day_Carver you knew I was coming. This is the compelling series we all wanted to see? The Finals will be great you said. Everyone wants to see part 4 you said. The NBA is mad competitive you said. Ok, you didn't say any of that shit I'm just pissed I wasted my time wit dis bullshit!!

LeBron James says he 'pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand'

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James played the last three games of the NBA Finals with a significant and "self-inflicted" right hand injury following the team's Game 1 overtime loss in Oakland.

Sources told ESPN that the injury was the result of James' punching a blackboard in the locker room after that game.

"I let the emotions get the best of me and pretty much played the last three games with a broken hand," James said following Friday's Game 4 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

James had two MRIs during the series and wore a soft cast when he wasn't practicing, playing or in view of the media, sources said, so as not to give the Warriors a competitive advantage.

He appeared with the cast during his news conference after Friday's game.

Windhorst says LeBron punched blackboard after Game 1
Brian Windhorst explains that LeBron James fought through a right hand injury in the NBA Finals after punching a blackboard after Game 1.

James scored 51 points in the game, going 7-of-16 from the field on shots from 10 feet and out in Game 1. He struggled shooting from such distances in the remaining three games, going a collective 5-of-19. His average shot distance, meanwhile, went from 12.6 feet in Game 1 to 10 feet in Game 2, 9 feet in Game 3 and 4.7 feet in Game 4, per ESPN Stats & Information.

James described that Game 1 loss as "very emotional" for him.

"For a lot of different reasons," he said. "Understanding how important a game is on the road for our ball club, what [winning it] would have done for us. The way we played, the calls that were made throughout the course of that game, and I had emotions that the game was taken away from us. I had emotions that you just don't get an opportunity like this on the road against Golden State to be able to get a Game 1."

NBA commissioner on Trump decision: 'Politics have always been part of players' lives

NBA commissioner Adam Silver said Friday that his reaction to President Donald Trump's announcement that the NBA champion will not be invited to the White House "is one of sadness."

Speaking to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith prior to Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Silver said, "it's a bit of resignation that this is where we find ourselves."

"Championship teams, not just in our sport but in other sports, aren't getting to celebrate in that way, something that has historically been apolitical in Washington, but I have to put it in the greater context of where we find our country," Silver said. "I would say, though, ultimately it saddens me because historically we've been able to use the NBA and all of sports to bring people together."

Trump told reporters on Friday morning prior to attending the G7 summit in Canada that "we're not going to invite either team," referring to the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, for a visit to the White House.

Silver said "politics have always been part of players' lives," referencing when NBA legend Bill Russell stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial when Dr. Martin Luther King gave his "I Have a Dream" speech in 1963.

Trump pointed out that he has had several championship teams at the White House. He said he expected the newly crowned NHL champion Washington Capitals to attend but added, "if they don't want to be here, I don't want them.'' Earlier this week, the White House canceled a ceremony with the defending NFL champions Philadelphia Eagles.

Trump's announcement echoes his sentiment from September, when he disinvited the 2017 champion Warriors and called out Stephen Curry in a tweet. It seemed to be a moot point, as LeBron James said Tuesday that neither his Cavaliers nor the Warriors would accept a visit.

"I know no matter who wins this series, no one wants an invite anyway. It won't be Cleveland or Golden State going," James said.

Silver mentioned James, Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul and Oklahoma City Thunder star Carmelo Anthony as players who advocate for social issues through their leadership positions in the Players' Association.

"These are multidimensional people," Silver said. "They should talk about issues that are important to them. It doesn't mean everybody has to agree on those issues, but that's America. This is a platform for free speech."

The reason that I hated Kdgoing to the Golden State Warriors is because of how good the first two finals against the Cavaliers were without him they played 13 games with him they played nine can you imagine how good these last 2 finals would have been if it was just Curry Klay and Draymond against Kyrie and LeBron.
