Franklin is smart and cold as fuck. The way he carries himself you can see he's built for the drug game once he finally starts focusing on business.
Thing is if the shit wasn't rigged as he said he'd be a top tier businessman. If he was allowed to just be himself and not kiss ass in order to get to the top then he'd do it in a heartbeat.

How Lucia's uncle let Oso walk right in unscathed if anything I will send her out to you, then Stompers crew didn't even head tap him what if he lives im sure he knows Lucia and Oso set him up seemed like he already felt it in the air she already betrayed him once.
And when is Franklin going to learn to stop leaving your enemies standing, even though RayRay a bitch leaving Lenny standing after getting ass fucked for an hour almost got him his mother and cousin killed, I guess when crack gets spread all through LA and the gang wars start he will finally learn to kill the business he is in there is no escaping it.
Also, I think Franklin is going to wind up fucking his uncle's girl down the line or she going to tell his uncle Franklin had her fuck the lady in the club for information, she is a snake I wouldn't trust her.
The good point is the CIA part of the story is watchable now shit was hilarious when he walked in and the Mexican dude was chopping her ass up no fucks given
I'm glad football season has started and bball season around the corner so I won't have to fiend for the second season to start, still the some of the best shit I have seen in years

The show has potential but never managed to pull it all together.

he was hamming it up for the interview but dude is talented & charismatic. Damn shame though a lot of the best black roles go to brits. Either they aren't giving African American actors a far shot or there aren't enough good roles to go around
CIA agent is the only thing messing up the show. Everything about him trying to humanize him and make him a sympathetic figure and such really doesn't translate.
franklin's story line and the wrestler's story line is compelling every scene and well acted.
CIA guy is just in the way honestly.

I'm not so sure. Maybe but we can't really complain because dude was perfect for the role and your job as a casting director is to find the guy that's perfect for a particular role. they did a good job.
We could probably complain that there was someone way better to play the CIA agent than Franklin.
they out here but the brits get more love because they classical theatre training and considered better actors in general, while young blk actors here are cast as gangbanger #3.

I didn't know this was the last episode.....it was almost like they made a finale just in case they got cancelled. But at the same time can't wait for next season.
At the end of the day its a brotha.....and of Nigerian descent. Not only that but him getting this role allowed for WC to also get a job. I'm not mad at it. I'm sure like most roles dude had to go in and audition and probably auditioned against people from everywhere including LA......and he probably was the best one.
