When they made that trade for Cousins, that was desperate move to put talent around Anthony Davis, so ESPN and others like Chris Broussard don't start using the dreaded phrase "He wants out" and then the ESPN talking heads start trashing the market and start running scenarios where he ends up in New York, Brooklyn or one of the LA teams, like were doing during the CP3 era. This team probably won't survive another start forcing his way out, hell this teams future in the coming decade isn't even all that clear, if we want to be honest.

I know this was a long winded post but this franchise's location and fanbase is probably going to dictate how moves are made here more than general basketball common sense.
