All of this shit you are saying is waaay past his prime. He woulda destroyed Holyfield in prime and not on mental health meds...they made this nigga take meds before his fight...it was contracted if I am correct
He wasn't even competitive against Holyfield. Please stop if they fought a hundred times Holyfield would win a hundred times

Seemed like the ref should have stopped the fight in 7th round in favor of Ortiz

Ortiz let him off the hook

Wilder has great power needs a new trainer

I like Wilder but he fights erratic... he’d struggle vs heavyweights of 70s thru 90s

Wilder is taller, so what?

Everybody Tyson beat was taller than him.

Short fighters beat taller fighters a lot. Tall fighters fight tall, short fighters want to get lower. Wilder is so flawed that's not as big as an advantage as you might think.

Tyson didn't struggle with Mitch Green, Jaime Tillis or Bonecrusher. All they did was hold. Those fights weren't close at all. (Funny Story, I knew a guy that was Mitch Green's training camp who said he threw the fight)

Tyson might not be able to take Wilder's punch but can Wilder take this? A prime Tyson was a superior fighter, it's far more likely that Tyson was going to get there first.

I like Wilder, his fights are always going to be entertaining. He's got the power to knock anybody out. I stopped questioning him a couple of years ago, I knew he was the real deal but don't get too far ahead. But honestly, Wilder just had a life and death fight against a 40 year old who had only beaten 1 contender. And he was probably on PEDs when he beat him.
Man the media really made y'all believe Mike Tyson was this dominant Force. Just go on YouTube and watch the Mitch Green fight. watch Mike Tyson take 200 shots from a guy with no pop. After that fight the strategy was out on how to beat him and most people did. And this is his so-called Prime which is ridiculous. Yeah I know an athlete's True Prime is in his late twenties early thirties but with Mike yall try to change the shit until his earliest of years.

Wilder threw Ortiz across the ring like a rag doll 2 or 3 times and Ortiz had about 30 pounds on him. After the 2nd time that happened I figured Wilder was playing possum or almost rope-a-doping Ortiz. The power he displayed at the end, swooping in for the kill was incredible...like a shark smelling blood in the water. Those last 3 punches would have put any man down including AJ.

AJ is made for Wilder. But y'all will see. Now Tyson Fury will probably take Wilder to school unless he works on some things. But even then it only takes one shot.

78sports brought up the point that there could have been another knockdown called in the fight on Ortiz but Wilder pushed him after he hit him and the ref didn't call it.

yep
they will pay to see you lose tho..floyd learned to cash in that way
meanwhile AJ is a superstar in england by just being nice
smh

And that's why he doesn't want to fight outside of the UK. He hinted to that after his last fight.

Check your Twitter feed and Facebook. It's black people along with whites who hate on Wilder. Floyd never faced that type of hate

I respect your opinion, however Floyd still gets hated even in retirement. Floyd has the United Nations of haters, I've never seen anything like it. Wilder's haters aren't even trying IMHO.......

But Floyd had a hundred percent support from black folks Wilder doesn't have that luxury.

When was Mike's prime and who did he beat during his prime?
out of his prime mentally...he had been to prison and taken to the cleaners by Givens...if you can't understand how mentality plays into a fight, then you prolly never had one

Bullshit, he got his ass beat by Holyfield in the Olympic trials and got his ass beat twice in real fights. He would never beat Holyfield. He would never have beaten Lennox Lewis and I personally think Riddick Bowe would have destroyed him. If you could box were not scared, and could take a punch you could beat Tyson. He was very over rated. What great fighter did he actually beat?

You didn't answer my question.

I'm asking when was Tyson's prime and who did he beat during his prime? "Prime" as the qualifier. So I'm trying to understand what you mean by "prime"? What were his prime years? You don't need to mention the who did he beat part because we can always look at that up during his prime years.

You needed a jab, a chin, and stamina. If you could get out of the early rounds, you would break Tyson down.

Wilder dosent get a quarter of the hate Floyd got. The only hate I see wilder getting is because everyone knows he can't box but is very likely to be the no1 PFP boxer by this time next year.

Wilder needs to work on his footwork like crazy. I like the dude, but with his range, he should be dancing around folks now.

Dude Mike was past his prime when he fought Evander
So was Holyfield, Tyson fans like to paint this picture that Tyson was a forty-year-old fighter at the end of his career and Holyfield was this young twenty-five-year-old upstart. The truth is, Holyfield was older and far more ring worn than Tyson. Another thing, why do Tyson fans believe that Tyson not being an effective fighter after his prime is a positive attribute? All great fighters have been effective fighters after their prime ended but somehow Tyson fans believe that Tyson, not being effective anymore proves how great he was.

Once again we have Tyson fans believing that fighters having problems outside the ring is unique to Tyson.
Fighters having to fight with different trainers is unique to Tyson.
Fighters having to win big fights when they're not at their best is unique to Tyson.
No other fighter in the history of the sport has had to overcome what Tyson has.

They were talking about his training regime and said he only spares every other week when preparing for a fight

Yea I caught that.

He might need to, at least, have a sparring session twice weekly. I think if he gets his footwork halfway decent, he can do whatever he wants to do in the ring. Opponents have to respect the power, but I know Joshua do not respect Wilder's footwork at all.

What is there to hate about Wilder? He isn't the most technically sound fighter, but so what. Dude has a champion mindset.
His athleticism along with his positive attitude have taken him a long way. I wish him all the best and don't bet against him.
And the right hand is vicious.

Im going to say it again. Joshua is made for Wilder. Joshua has no head movement and he isnt a southpaw. Thats disaster.
Tyson Fury will be Wilders test. I dont know if he can pass that one.

Preach my good brother...Preach!!!
Hell Buster Douglass's mother died right before their fight and he still dominated Mike.
But Tyson fans are the gods of excuses.

That's if Fury's lazy ass can get into shape.

Fury is a big awkard funny looking lurch but he is pretty damn mobile and athletic inside the ring, shit is crazy
