Well, PBF ran in a similar way against Carlos Baldomir. If he was running all over the ring with Baldomir I doubt he would have engaged with Marvin Hagler. Also, I agree that Hagler deserved the decision.
Hagler fought his entire career at MIDDLEWEIGHT.
Floyd has never fought at Middleweight.
When Sugar Ray come up in weight to fight Hagler, they robbed Hagler. Ray won on style points....and even later admitted he didnt win the fight.
I dont think Floyd beats Hagler....however, he damn well has the capabilities too..

I'm inclined to think that Pac would get killed by Hagler too based sheerly on the size difference. But then, I remember that, like Pac, Roberto Duran started from those lower weights and eventually ended up fighting Hagler at 160, when he was older, past his prime, and still giving Hagler a run for his money. However, I don't want to do a disservice to Duran by comparing Pac to him. Duran was a more complete fighter with the ability to fight on the inside and out. Pac is an interesting type of brawler mentality dude because he does not appear to be a great infighter.
When I read they had Pacqaio beating Julio Cesar Chavez, I stopped reading.
Beyond that. Pacman doesnt have the chin that Duran had...not by a long shot and Hagler was a master of cutting off the ring and making you fight inside...which Pacman is horrible at.... Those body shots would kill Pacman... it is just a complete styly mismatch because Hagler would not even have to worry about Pacman being able to hurt him. He would just run him down and cut off the ring and punish him inside.
With Floyd.... it is SR vs Hagler but without the offensive barrages that SR put on so that he could steal rounds late (which I still thought he lost)... Floyd doesnt have a style that is conducive to stealing rounds based on activity.. I think he would lose on the scorecards to someone like Hagler
