if you believe in the technology and realize the impact it could have it's hard not to...if you’re just chasing the $$$ w/o understanding what you’re invested in then yes it’d be hard to maintain optimism...and I don’t mean “you” per se...there was a video posted in here along time ago...an interview w/ a brother who’s the CEO of veritaseum...watching that vid made me realize the full potential of blockchain technology...not saying I fully understand it on a technical level...but I’ve grasped enough to believe in it...I’ll see if I can find the video...also even if you are just focusing on the financial aspect of it...just studying the history of the market you’ll see that this shit has its ups and downs...it will blow over a bit in feb. if not sooner...as volatile as it is there is some predictability...that being said I don’t “know” shit...just pretty certain of it

good shit...I’ve actually forgotten about the psychological component behind most of this shit...I remember in my mind cursing the government and questioning why was this shit even legal when I was losing $$$ early on lmao...all of this is growing pains for new guys tho...luckily they saw the best the market has to offer last month so they can realize that good times ARE ahead if they can hold strong

I'm still relatively new to this, but I am not aware of how to participate in an ico where you have to be whitelisted, but missed out on the whitelist.
I have read on telegram that that some people are selling their whitelist but I personally don't trust that. If you missed out on the whitelist, the safest bet is to wait until it hits an exchange. Depending on the coin/token, pay attention to binance and etherdelta. Use EXTREME caution with etherdelta. Metamask and old fashioned due diligence is your friend if you are going to use ED.
I feel your pain, I missed out on the oraclesnetwork ico whitelist. That wait is excruciating.
