Official BGOL Crypto Currency Thread ★★★★★

Bruh, I eat and sleep this shit right now! Vertcoin, Lisk, Salt and Verge are my primaries. There are a few others I'm checking out but I'm going HARD on these.

One of my boys is struggling like hell, put 200 in to it. Shit, if it maxes out that 4K. I would also look at Verge as low as it is. Shit jumps to 1.75, 2.00, that's a helluva windfall...

Damn fam we got your ass off them NBA threads to get this money? Lol if you put in to this the work you put into following the league, you will be very successful. Respect

What about all the scams and hackers? How to know what's legit? Why so many negative articles about it crashing and mean reversion?

1. It's computer based coding technology. There will be hackers. Go to reputable places to buy. Download reputable wallets and hold your coins there.
2. The articles are written because they can't control this shit period. Their power is in the form of controlling wealth and with this they cannot.

So is coinbase legit or not because I just signed up and niggas in the other thread are trashing it.

I hope it ain't trash seeing as how that is what I used to purchase my first crypto.

Its not trash imo but there are some negatives.... The main ones being that their fees are way higher than everyone else's and when you get started they really restrict how quickly, and how much money you can add to your account. They also put a limit on how much you can withdraw which for me hasn't been the biggest issue since I haven't needed to withdraw any significant amount.

i see bitcoin is feeling itself.... 14 stacks

anyone still fucking with genesis mining... thanks to bitcoins rise my payouts been poppin.....

Can you all ease up a bit. I'm trying to fund a forex account with btc and its been pending for the last 2hrs.

lmao. i left work with BTC at 11xxx got home and its 14xxx. a lot of ppl gonna have a lovely christmas

Was telling someone earlier that the adaptation phase of BTC is still young and people respect it as real currency PLUS

They're not making any more......very important caveat.

No telling where this will end up.

For most of people who are just beginning with Crypto this is a good time if you purchased Vertcoin. Right now you are basically going through the stages of the development of a monster. Every stage is important to experience for your next big purchase.

So what we have seen in the past 48 hours is resistance of the $10 price which is a natural thing, we tethered in the $9 range for a little and then we finally broke $10. Once we broke $10 a good amount of people pulled profit because they were most likely earlier purchasers below $1.00 or maybe even further below $1.00.

The great part about this small dip is that it did not drop below the half way point of its high. This means those people who pulled out will more than likely be buying back in.

Vertcoin is still a great buy at below $100, it is still a steal below $100 if you think in relative terms of where these crypto currencies are going? You didn't think Bitcoin was going to be the only one worth $12,000 did you? Not saying Vertcoin is going to reach 12k, but the growth will be explosive IMO.

December 12th is the Halving event for Vertcoin. A 'Halving' basically means that the Miners who are mining Vertcoin will receive half of what they regularly receive in their mining operations. The Halving will now only allow Miners to receive 25 Vertcoin per block when prior to the 12th they would regularly receive 50 Vertcoin per block. What are the results of this?

What happens when you make something already attractive to a consumer harder to get? The price goes up.

That's where we are at right now buy in the dips, don't worry about resistance volatility will always be a thing, this coin has value it's going places 2018 is going to be an exciting year for not just this coin but several other coins that are underpriced and you guys are now in the marketplace to earn large domes of money.

Mark my words

Wall Street banks have raised objections to the introduction of bitcoin futures trading, highlighting fears that the financial system can't cope with the cryptocurrency's volatile price swings.

Bitcoin has rocketed higher Thursday, crossing the $15,000 mark less than 48 hours after topping $12,000.

The U.K.'s Financial Times has reported that a letter from the Futures Industry Association, which counts the world's biggest banks among its members, is to be sent Thursday to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in the U.S.

The letter reportedly criticizes the introduction of bitcoin futures and states that the Chicago exchanges, CME Group and CBOE Global Markets, should not be allowed to launch bitcoin futures under a self-certifying regime.

The FT reported that a draft version seen by the newspaper said proposed rules for bitcoin futures trading do "not align with potential risks that underlie their trading."

CBOE Global Markets is due to launch its bitcoin futures exchange on Sunday. The CME group is due to launch its version on December 17.

I don’t know what Tronix(TRX) is, but I saw that had 500 of them joints in my Binance account. Saw that shit going crazy right before I got off work tonight. Grabbed 1.8mil around 5pm, up 75% at time of me typing this. I think I’ll cash out leave 1mil tokens. Predictions are $.01+ In 2018.

I was looking @ them too last nite...it could be long climb uphill w/ 65-100 billion tokens in circulation but if it’s a good project it’ll move

Bank of America is already moving away from regular currency in a lot of transactions

I can't tell you how many times I've missed out waiting on that damn Bitcoin dip. Just buy that shit and put a stop loss when it moves up. When you get stopped out, buy that shit again. Repeat the process forever.

Help a brother out. What is a stop loss and how do I go about it?

I am using bitstamp to buy my coins...
