CAC's talkin shit but some good gems of sound advice

Part of why I wanted to go with a factory AR for my first... In my business I learned that "you don't wanna spend more time workin ON your equipment than working WITH your equipment", so I bought best I could afford, even if used.

I used eXmark will out run & outlast ANY & EVERY TroyBilt or Cub Cadet

I think I'ma go with the 700, I see a threaded one in .308 for $850

dHustla:

This might be helpful.
It's a new Remington 700 in .308, similar to the one you were describing, for over $200 less.

Remington Model 700 SPS Tactical AAC-SD Bolt Action Rifle Ghillie Green .308 Win 20 inch 4 rd Heavy Threaded Barrel

Has Remington fixed the issue of the 700s firring by themselves? I know they replaced the triggers @ one time, but that didn't seem to solve the problem.

Still looking for handgun suggestions. Left handed. 9mm is preferred but willing to be educAted on something else. I want concealment and stopping power.

No. I believe that they nave not. Remington recalled their original trigger, and replaced it with their X-Mark Pro trigger. But, now they have recalled some of their new X-Mark Pro triggers which were manufactured from May 1, 2006 through April 9, 2014, because of "excess bonding agent used in the assembly process, which could cause an unintentional discharge".

In short, if you are considering a Remington 700 series rifle (which I still believe is a good gun), I would replace the OEM/stock trigger with a high quality after market trigger. Check out the ones from Timney Triggers.

Will check. Was told by fam Glock 23 as well. Glock 19 I believe only had the 13 shots. So I assume it's still concealable. Does the higher mag make it much wider to notice?

Glock 19 holds 15 +1 Best thing to do, go to a shop and hold whatever you are considering, then rent at the range to see what feels best

An extended mag isn't going to be noticeable, Mag will just be a little longer. The Glock 19, 23, and 32 all have the same frame, just different calibers. 19 is 9mm, 23 is .40 32 is 357. If you get a 23 or a 32, you can use the barrels of the other 2 in it essentially giving you 3 options.

Respect. That's the plan. I'm compiling a list of guns to rent before I do cop.
Keltec 9mm
Ruger 9mm
Glock 19 and 23.
I like revolvers so I'm gonna consider a small one for the ankle. Hammerless.

Steer clear of Kel Tec (aka Fail-tec). Both the PF9 and P11 are garbage.
The only person that I would recommend either of those to, would be someone trying to kill me. I'd be safe.......

I'm just learning about the Texas church shooting... Man 14 kids?! My heart hurt man!

TOOL! UP!

Everything you can afford.

Just imagine a child you are kin to being killed?

That's what I'm eying now. Most have slept on the g30 sf. Its a bad mofo.
Going to be a great side arm for the Spikes Tatical AR
