What's the word in this org?

Im more partial to a small, private group that I know & trust well. No trail
NAAGA has started paid memberships. I am not to sure how the group is going...yet. I am just watching to see how it grows. Buffalo Soldiers has been around for a while, but no group in my area. I met a few of their folks. Seems to be a good group.

The BAFT&E will probably change their ruling on these shortly.....
But how would that work with them already being on the market for so long?

People that already have em gon just turn theirs in? Destroy them? Or go to jail if caught with one?

It's gotta be thousands in circulation

So you suggest buying now?

See one for an AK $375. I aint never fired a fully

I wouldn't, the novelty wears off fast, imo...
However, if you have the funds to buy one now, try it then sell it at a profit. :dunno:
The fact is, you can bump fire without the stock, it just makes it easier...

The old stocks should be grandfathered, they would make them illegal from the time of the ruling.

bruh...depending on why you are buying a rifle.....you might want to reconsider that 6.5 caliber round bc its not a easy round to find es if you are buying for a SHTF rifle. you need to consider some common rounds that can be found nearly everywhere you go. 6.5, 6.8, 300 blk out rounds are expensive to shoot and if /when you run out, are you planning on reloading yourself or just stocking up and running out later.
in the class i teach, i always ask why are you buying a firearm bc you need the right too for the job. home protection, hunting, or SHTF or all of the above....
I dont know what your annual paper looks like but those rounds are costly. fun to shoot but costly. i would ask that youconsider the 7.62 x 39 or 7.62x51 if you looking for knock down power. easier to find and reload.

Good suggestions. I had fallen in love with Bergara B14 and thought the model I wanted was only in 6.5. Just found it in .308. I'm digging shooting at range for fun.

I've hit a few gun stores to look at guns. I'm learning test the grip, weight, trigger pull, etc. I've ruled out a lot of guns just based on the way it feels in my hand. Some are harder to conceal. I'm gonna go with a 9mm to start out. The bigger guns were nice but way more than i need right now. I'm gonna need a left-handed gun as well. they had one that can switch, but no need to pay $200 more when i can just get one that's a lefty.

Good shit Bro, exactly how it should be done. Off the top of my head, the Glock 19&17 and H&K VP9 have the ability for ambidextrous setup out of the box without much fuss....

Just picked her up, very nice 8 shot revolver, I weighed her in at 22.4 ounces.

That's a nice pick up. I'd be interested in the trigger pull, and the recoil of that bitch Especially chambered in .357, with such a light frame. Hit us up with a range report, Bro?

I will hit the range next week with the Speer ammo.

But it will not be a range gun, it's strictly personal protection.

What I said was my 10.5 runs the best out of the piston uppers I have. I'm talking in terms of maneuverability, reliability, and being suppressor friendly. I have had issues with gas blow back with my D.I. Ar's, when used in conjunction with suppressors. Piston driven uppers gas systems are adjustable, they can be set to the shooters liking.

I have a 16" and 8.5" 300 BLK, both are D.I., so I can't speak for the piston variants.

For clarity, I should look for a 10.5"-12.5" piston driven (If I plan to ever use a suppressor)? For reliability..

Any drawbacks to a D.I. as far as length? 7.5" vs. 10" vs. 12"?

Yup. Sig Saur (can't spell it) has one as well. Smooth ass trigger pull. I was like whaaaaaaaaaaat? I also peeped the snub revolver somebody posted with the hammer. That bitch was nice! Around $4-500. I'll look around for a deal on that one.

I want to make sure that you are aware that any rifled barrel < 16" or OAL of < 26" (with a stock) is considered a SBR by the ATF, you can get around this by using a brace of some sort or configuring the weapon as a pistol. With that said, I've never run a piston driven less than 10.5". I've run 10.5, 12.5 & 16 with the 10.5 having the best overall balance for me and my intended uses (suppressed). In all honesty I haven't looked at any of my AR's in a while. I've been messing with different pistols and PCC's for the past year or so. I'm gathering parts to build a AR10, so lets see how that goes.....

My 7" AR is violent to shoot, from concussion, blowback, and sound perspectives. It isn't very practical to suppress (in fact none of my cans are rated to run on barrels shorter than 10"). The most fun I have with it, is to piss cac's off when I shoot in their proximity. All other SBR lengths are good to go in both D.I. and PD.
