The Strain Official Thread Discussion

I think it's funny how Doc and Zach shared the same wig
When it was good it was good when it was bad it was very bad

But I've got so many issues with this... especially with the fact that killing the master didnt kill the entire Strain... I mean in Season 1 they were struggling to kill just a couple munchers. There were still thousands of strogi out there....

Side note... what about the hidden group of vampires out there.

Also are you telling me that after 5 years... everybody is just walking around cool like shit ain't happened.

What about the other parts of the world?

I like that Zach will not get credit for saving the world and will forever be remembered as a bitch.
He did that for nothing.
But, WE know, and that makes it a shitty ending.
If I knew my way around animation software, I'd create my own "How the Strain Should've Ended" video and post it on YouTube.

Nah the fact that they dont' know makes it more satisfying.
we know he did it and he won't get credit.
that's beautiful. he don't deserve no credit or memory and also im glad his dad was taken over by the master he was trash the entire series as well

I see your point, but look at it this way: the world that is unaware of the child's sacrifice doesn't actually exist. The world that does exist(viewership) is fully aware of how the show writers let this crap play out. He can't help but get credit for what he did because WE know.
It's kinda like that adage, "What is seen cannot be unseen."
Just another viewpoint.

I feel you
and my hate won't let me see it that way
He died a pussy.

I was really sad for a moment and thought of this show...

and really wanted to say after a few months of distance?

f*ck 'em

that is all

This fucking shit just popped in my mind so I watched a couple of clips of it on youtube. It made me want to cry how they butchered the books....

It started strong but quickly went to shit..
A lot of shows do that. IDK why. They have source material and either arrogance or stupidity keeps them from utilizing it and creating their own independent story and it fails

I understand, some changes need to be made when adapting from a book but it shouldn't be a fucking shit though. Then, alot of these TV executives want to shut out the author for any input of the changes.
