Netfix: OZARK Season 4 Discussion Thread (spoilers) (season 4 trailer!!) (drops 1/21/2022)

can skip em tho

didn't involve any plot points

as usual

Maybe it's just me but it's seems like "they" are pushing that agenda more and more in all the new shows. I just watched the last episode of Snowfall and the rape scene left me horrified.

Avoided this thread like the Black Plague for fear of spoilers...

But Gawd damn Netflix has a fucking hit on their hands. This first season was fucking crack.

Almost a perfect season....

So much great shit in here...

Even the Title O became a character because each episode had different pictures that illustrated key pivotal scenes within the episode.

I'm still curious to find out who was the person that saved Marty from being electrocuted on the dock.

We know that at that moment.. Ruth had intentions to kill him but someone put everything back.

That was one of the few moments I thought was unnecessary but the previous scenes did establish that she was unpredictable and missed her old way of life. So there was a possibility.
Oh, that was supposed to be intentional? I thought she either caught a cramp/got tired due to the cold. In which case I was like "that's what your dumb ass get for going swimming at night after you were warned about the cold." Then by the end, I thought she miraculously came back."

Binge watched last week and I'm hooked.

Jason Bateman played this character perfectly IMO. He didn't completely stray from what he's good at but brought something new to the character. I've fucked with him since "Arrested Development" and I like his acting style. I particularly like those little moments where he shows some of his comedic acting (such as the scene where he was outside with his wife discussing the dead deer in their driveway and he kept repeating shit due to lack of sleep and how he acted that out subtlety.)

With the way everyone is afraid of Ruth's father you can tell this show will really take off when he gets out and becomes a real nemesis for Marty (which I assume will happen in the second season.)

How much the bar owner got away with? Hope they continue her story.

I have a feeling she didn't really take shit, those bags were too light when she put them in the car. She didn't seem too impressed with the money when she first discovered what Marty was doing and was more concerned with the heat it could bring from the police or the Cartel.

Though I could see her just taking the loot and finally giving up on her lodge since its been a failure and a burden since she inherited it.

I'm still curious to find out who was the person that saved Marty from being electrocuted on the dock.

The agent did it after his informant told him of Ruth's intentions. As an agent if Marty dies so does his case and what he feels is his best chance at infiltrating the Mexican Cartel.
