Watch it, you won't be disappointed.
Lots of action and good story.
What they did with Season 1 was stretch out the original TV pilot out to 10 episodes so they could go in-depth with character development.
The Robinson family in this series are not a picture perfect family. They got a shit load of issues like any typical American family.
And Dr. Smith.....the actress Parker Posey hit that role right out of the ballpark. Ol' gurl should get a Emmy nomination for her depiction of the the role. She did a complete 180 with that character.
And in Season 2, Dr. Smith has proven she is a survivor, she will be back in Season 3 no doubt.
Season 2 was up to par, looking forward to Season 3!
You're on the money kirkout. I did finish the show but it was hella annoying with having six dramatic overtures in every episode.
I was hyped to see a reboot of a SciFi show from MY childhood and I couldn't wait for the second season. S1 was pretty much the same but the new show excitement hadn't worn off while binge watching the season over a couple of days and making comparisons to the original.
I did/do enjoy the show but it was THE MOST Rated G show on the airwaves. It's as though they don't think kids watch shit like Big Mouth.
I felt the way you do about Raising Dion. I just couldn't finish it.
1st season was better. Outside of the first few episodes of season 2 (I like it when they are stranded on strange worlds and have to Macgyver their way out) they seemed rushed in some places and used filler episodes in some. Still good but not as good as the first season.
Season 3 is the final season...

It was good but it's like that season was made to air on Nickelodeon. It's a family drama being played out in a Sci-Fi backdrop. Those of us who were looking for Sci-Fi...

My TV took a dump right in the middle of The Nevers...the screen just turned into a vertical rainbow down one side. I rebooted it and it cleared up for a day and then the entire screen went out.
I ran my happy ass to WalMart looking for a 50 inch TV and there was SHIT for a selection at ANY damn store in the whole county so I bought a Philips Android TV.
This cheap ass POS TV seems to show movies in 720P. I can't get the resolution together for shit...well actually, it's just not capable of fine tuning to one's liking. What's really irritating is that YouTube videos are sharp and crisp as can be but any of my streaming is just horrible. The picture looks like I'm watching VHS tape.
Desperate times called for desperate purchases.
