It's not hate but people act like Lebron deserves the MVP over everybody every year. That nigga stopped deserving MVP in 2010. 2008 and 2009 were well deserved MVP's. That bullshit in 2012 and 2013 though? Nah. The MVP is a regular season award my dude. It should go to the player that busted his ass the entire season and put up the best performance that year. This year people shit on Westbrook in favor of James but fail to mention that Westbrook lost his main guy and had to do it all on his own against better competition. Lebron didn't lose Kyrie or Love. Hell the Cavs didn't even finish in 1st place because they didn't respect being a #1 seed. Now Russ's team isn't top but triple double aside(which is phenomenal in it's own right) he had to lead a team full of unknowns night in and night out. Did not rest by his own choice not once. He is not as efficient as James but he brings it just as much or more every night WITH LESS!
He is NOT MORE VALUABLE TO HIS TEAM THAN THE OTHER CANDIDATES ARE TO THEIR TEAM! That is what MVP means. So yes, he deserves to be in the running every year but not to win it every year.
