the pacers gotta figure a way over the hump the next few years. i'm just hoping dwayne casey dont get fired...lol. pg gotta figure out whats best for him once his season ends. the wrong move he can go to leading a good playoff team to a team stuck outside the playoffs. dude dont wanna end up like melo

I get one of your points but he can dictate where he wants to go and at the end of the day, we're getting a bunch of mediocrity back regardless. A top three from the Lakers would be cool but not a guarantee of another superstar.

He can go up to Larry and say, I want to go here. And it's going to be for a few assets that may keep us competitive. Nobody is fooling anybody. At least on my end. So MY point is, if and when PG leaves, it's just a loss that Indiana has to deal with. The generational star didn't get it done. Now, we gotta rebuild. He's not built for rebuilding at this point. So let it go.

All that Scalabrani, a 20th pick, and a box of envelopes for PG, isn't going to mean shit in the end. So I don't really care about returns.:dunno:

bro, here is the thing; he can dictate; Pacers have no leverage unless he makes the all nba team; if he doesnt, he can walk and they get nothing; no team is gonna give up prime assets to the pacers for PG to walk on them a year later; wont happen; some team might take the gamble but that would be a big gamble though; and again why would the Lakers trade for him knowing that they could just sign him when he becomes a free agent??

Dude, you're not getting it. With PG, the Pacers have nothing regardless. Unless he sticks around for the long haul.

He's not getting it done versus Lebron right now. Lebron fools him every time. PG is out there hugging Lebron above the foul line in game two, screen for a Kyrie layup. Crucial basket. Game 3, he's in the same spot, hugging Lebron, the same spot, and makes a cut for an easy basket towards the end of the game. Crucial basket. I seen it with my own eyes. There's a mental aspect to this game.

With PG = Nothing (championship)
Without PG = Nothing (championship)

Do you get that? He can sell some seats and jerseys, but who has come to play with him? Nobody outside of David West. So it's time to cut losses. Geezus.:eek2:

I agree that the pacers should trade him; not disputing that; the question is to who and for what? Whose gonna give the pacers anything knowing that PG is gonna sign with the lakers? What gm is gonna do that? Would u trade for pg, as a gm, knowing he's gonna sign somewhere else? This isn't the nfl, PG has all the leverage; and not only that, u have to match contracts in the nba; so that essentially means dollar for dollar; who is doing that? If we gonna talk trade let's be realistic about it....
