Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

Facts

It was amazing to see the Lakers fans turn on Gasol

I swear it was everybody fault but Kobes that they fell off let many of them tell it

Shaq literally played with a guy who could be a no. 1 option, MVP caliber on the majority of NBA teams during the three-peat era ...

....but he's given all the credit for all the white women. If its good enough for Kobe's contributions to be overshadowed, then its good enough for Pau. Kobe didn't save the Lakers ass A LOT during the Shaq era? Nobody remembers before the NBA changed the rules that you could choose anybody to shoot foul shots for a player fouled late in games, Shaq had to sit down late in games, and Kobe had to take over?

Pau never won a single playoff game before getting to the NBA, despite having been to the playoffs THREE times prior to being traded to LA.

He was def. necessary to the Lakers winning, but he could never be any one's no. 1 option.

Give us Kobe resume when Snack left, before Pau came and saved his career... AKA the dark ages.

Kobe won three playoff games in the playoffs in 2005-2006, and and 1 game in 2006-2007.

What exactly is your point?

Did I not say Pau was necessary to going to the next level?

My point was Pau never won a single playoff game prior to LA in three trips.

Kobe won 4 ... with the niggas he had. Pau's team wasn't even that bad, and they couldn't even EEK out a game.

You had absolutely no reason to quote me, because you didn't negate shit I said.

:hmm:so you wanna go down that road huh:lol:
He went down that road.. I merely asked a question while he was on his way.

I didnt ask you if he won meaningless bottom seed playof games... I asked his resume ho.

Whats my point? Kobe missed the postseason IN HIS PRIME and was 8th seed trash when Snack left and before Pau came. He didnt start winning again until Pau came.

Snicks pick up Jacksons 2 year contract option :smh:

Yup Melo is out of there, the Breh deserves better than that fuck cac Jackson

Melo should want to be gone. Dude's loyalty is beyond stupid at this point. You got your money, now go try and get a ring. The other top dogs of 03' got one.

Orlando Magic fire GM Rob Hennigan, reportedly interested in hiring Grant Hill

Hennigan had been the general manager in Orlando since 2012

Well that didn't take long.

Just about 12 hours after the 2016-17 regular season came to an end, the Orlando Magic fired GM Rob Hennigan. The news broke early Thursday morning, with reports coming from both Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, and Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.

The Magic then confirmed the move in a press release, announcing that Matt Lloyd will be taking over as interim GM.

Here is what you should know about the move:

  • Hennigan had been in charge in Orlando since 2012, and was just 30 years old when he was hired, making him the youngest GM in the league.
  • The Magic struggled mightily during his tenure, posting five losing seasons and going just 132-278, the second-worst mark in that span.
  • Hennigan's first big move was the Dwight Howard trade, which sent Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers.
  • Per Robbins' report, Orlando is interested in bringing in Grant Hill. Hill, though, currently holds a small ownership stake of the Atlanta Hawks, which he would need to divest, and it is unclear if he has any interest in the job.
  • The Magic, who finished this season 29-53, will have the fifth-best odds of securing the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft Lottery next month

That has nothing to do with what I'm talking about

Why not?

People say Pau don't get credit for what he did with Kobe when Kobe don't get credit for what he did with Shaq. What makes Pau so special that he can't get the same treatment.

Pau ALWAYS overrate the no. 1 option.

Why should Kobe get credit over the most dominate force? lol
Literally the finals games were no match because there was nothing that existed that could stop shaq.
