It's criminal the best big man on the best team for 5 years straight couldn't get the award more than one time.
He was clearly the most valuable player in the league and the reason why they won their championships.

To be fair, Shaq didnt really go after MVP awards except the year he won it in 2000. He had something to prove that year and led the league in scoring as well. But their other championship years Shaq (as well as several other teammates) would coast thru the regular season and not really go hard til like April, a month before the playoffs. Other star players were putting up #'s all year, but the early 2000's Lakers only cared about the playoffs and Finals. They actually started the whole "regular season means nothing" mentality when Phil was over there coaching. Team had 2 top 5 players, a deep bench of vets who already had jewelry, and a coach that had won 6 rings, and a league DEVOID of talent after Jordan "retired". They had a tendency to get bored and always try to "cut it on". So that is the REAL reason Shaq didnt get anymore MVPs in LA despite being the league's most dominant player. Now when he went to the Heat, you can make an argument he should've got it over Nash 1 of those years, but he wasnt the same Shaq either by that point.

Agreed.

Didn't he say that? Not leaving his teammates out there and all that other shit right? Wanted credit for playing with a hurt wrist right?
Get out there and finish the season.

Forgot about that. Damnit. You're right.

Dantoni, Harden still has the flu and all the starters too. Sit em'.

Lebron played 37 minutes in a 20 point win against the Magic when they play again tonight

Was the triple double that important? I'm beginning to think Lue is an idiot and lucked in to a ring

He is an idiot. No clue what he's doing as a coach.

Man to be honest they just getting everybody back, this really ain't the time to rest.

Also they wasn't playing great, so these last stretch is tough but it should be a great tune up for the postseason

I've been complaining about Lebron's minutes all year

I still look at Lue as a Laker so I try not to bash him too much

It makes no sense to be playing Lebron that many minutes a night at his age and being that there's not a real challenger in the East(I don't believe in Washington or Boston)

This is embarrassing for Boston

damn, I got wings for that shit...I thought the game will be at least decent with the cavs winning. Kevin love destroyed Horford on the boards, smh. Really tired of them slow unathletic white boys with slow ass releases, its just hard to watch.

Eggzsactly. Cleveland walked them muthafucka's down.:smh: Walked them down.

That's just a sample of what's to come in the playoffs. Would love for a them to get upset out East but I can't see it yet. I knew it would turn out that way tonight. Boston shouldn't feel too terrible about it.

Man if punk ass Durant went to the Bullets.:smh: Not saying it's impossible for Boston, but man. They better pull out some shit if they match up. Some methods and formulas.

Lebron's going to turn into Thriller on they asses when it's prime time.:smh:

Bron sent a message to Boston tonite... Still played too many minutes tho. But he big boy'ed the shit outta them cats.

Way too many. It's the 1st half minutes that kill it.
2nd half I don't mind but he played the 1st then was running with the 2nd unit while thomas was resting then the celtics scored like 5 points and lue put bron right back in to finish the half
let the nigga sit
