Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

..They should have beat the Spurs the other day as well; Fucking Monte Ellis:smh:; But the Pacers are a baffling team; sometimes they look like they can win; and then sometimes they look like :bullshit:

They are.

I'm calling this on coaching or something because they've got some really good pieces.

For sure. And nice defense prior to the shot. I hope GRIII can materialize into something consistent for this team. Same with Turner. We'll see.

So much potential, but y'all may end up loosing PG. good thing is the youngins are showing promise.

According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com, the New York Knicks went old-school at Madison Square Garden Sunday and didn't play any music during the first half against the Golden State Warriors, much to the chagrin of Warriors forward Draymond Green.

ESPN.com's Chris Haynes noted Green called the idea "pathetic" as well as "ridiculous" and "disrespectful."

Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News shared video of Green's comments:

The two-time All-Star explained the lack of music changed the flow of the game and altered the overall vibe. He also claimed there was no need to go backward after there have been so many advancements to the game in recent years.

Interestingly, Green said the Warriors found out about the changes right before the start of the game, although he stressed he didn't think the Knicks were trying to throw off the two-time defending Western Conference champions.

Golden State won the game 112-105, but the Knicks were ahead by one at the half. Green pointed to the sloppy play and missing rhythm from both sides, which was evidenced by a combined 23 turnovers, 15 of which came from New York.

Youngmisuk provided video of the atmosphere and the words on the scoreboard explaining to the fans why there weren't some of the usual noises:

Sports Illustrated's Kenny Ducey highlighted the fact that the impact went beyond just the game action:

Green was clearly frustrated after the contest, although the feelings likely didn't stem from his own performance, considering he filled the stat sheet with 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in one of his typical all-around outings.

That dude on my fantasy team so he can show out but I need Dallas to lose.

For sure. But if the Nuggets are about it, they'll get it done. That would be a cool matchup too.

It's stressful on the bubble. I know. But just stack some wins and you'll get in.

Like Stephen A say ... "Andrew Bogus".

He was on the team. I tolerated him but if we look back to this off season I never said he was irreplaceable. Said he stayed hurt. Also called for him to go to the bench more than a few times.
And I never forgot his comment about how he spends his money vs how black players spend theirs.
