Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

He was very dominant. That's 2 different arguments.
He usually is very dominant in finals appearances.
He wasn't dominant at all; I've re-watch that series several; he took a lot of shots and had the ball in his hand all the time; that's not dominant; because if that is then what russ is doing is:eek2::eek2:but we have the same niggas on here that say LBJ was dominant but russ isn't doing anything special and it's hollow stats:hmm::smh:

whoever says russ is putting up hollow stats is just wrong.
and lebron was dominant. what you described is exactly what dominant is lol. he had the ball made all the decisions and all of the plays.
he'd been doing that the entire playoffs though and like i said the team swept the fucking ecf SWEPT
and then suddenly were running on fumes as an excuse. idgaf if that cac went to the hospital for exhaustion i guess that means if a team in the east had actually challenged them and they went 6 games he would've went to the hospital for exhaustion in that round too.

What other player could you swap out and ever keep those numbers?

What are you talking about?
All I was saying is that it happened 2 years ago and people are already acting like they could have won the series if not for 1 thing here or there. That wasn't the case. the last 3 games were won and weren't in doubt by the end of them. that's all im saying no more no less.
I didn't say anything negative about lebron or his play just how the series went.

They actually have three pgs on the squad besides Lowry in Joseph, VanFleet and Wright so Jennings probably would have been overkill.

They should holla at Larry Sanders because Serge ain't the defensive specialist he used to be.
I would grab Sanders in a heartbeat if I were them..

What happen...did Bean Town look really good?

They did but they need more scoring and are unathletic up front besides the rookie Jaylen Brown who I like a lot

They needed to get PG13 or Melo

Also maybe even a more aggressive athletic big Horford is an nice player but soft to me

They are not a threat to the Cavs

hortford is blah
brown is the key if he can step up then it can be interesting
he aint getting enough minutes or touches imo
if they ran the offense through him every once in a while they'd be dangerous

I remember one play were Crowder got the ball with a running start at the top of the key and had basically a open lane to the basket he ended up driving in unexlposively and passed it to whatever unathletic big they had under the basket and they didn't do shit either

I was like if that was Brown he would just drive in and dunked it and that would be that

The top 3s doing that. Lebron, KD, George, etc

My original response was to Brown Turd's claim that Lebron shouldn't have been MVP on a losing team. The team was depleted and it was a 4-2 series. Period. Lebron was the most dominate force on both sides as he was in 2016. MVP.

LBJ is great, one of the greatest no doubt; where he falls on the all time great list, well thats a whole different debate; anyone who says differently is being stupid; that doesnt mean hes dominant every game or series; it doesnt mean he hasnt done bitch shit, which he clearly has; and that also doesnt mean he hasnt choked up on different occasions as well; that being said I just hope that Cavs and GS are completely healthy when they meet in the finals; that way none of you mofos can say shit....

It wasn't a miracle they won 2 games when they just got through sweeping the ecf
people can't prop up those 2 wins and then discount the warriors at the same time.

and none of that has anything to do with how he performed. i said he performed excellently then and now.

revisionist don't acknowledge that the cavs swept the ecf so winning 2 games after dominating the east shouldn't be regarded as a miracle
especially against a team that in every round if someone won a game they thought this was the point where they'd lose cause they're the warriors.

i remember the grizzlies were up 2-1 and niggas couldn't wait to rush in and shake their heads and say mvp for nothing season over etc etc.

...see. More tender neck rolling teeth sucking and finger popping. You need to look at how some of the other brothers flow here.... I actually enjoy back and forth with fucup, KingT and others, but your flow has too much estrogen in them...

Get it together Bruh :smh:
We smashed y'all fuck niggas last night and we don't need to fucking tank every year to be good. Ole draft picking ass nigga

Nah bro, I'm not going in anything with this dude! It's actually pretty funny to me, he tries really hard though so I respond to him because that's important to him. He needs attention, or a testosterone shot! He really thinks that this team stuff bothers me! That's what's really funny, I engage him because it actually makes his day. LMAO!

Nobody played particularly well tonight for GS.

I feel like they going through the motions a little bit.

For some reason the Steph from the past 2 years still aint back. Im starting to wonder if that dude is gone for good.

I was thinking that Durant going down would sort of force them to refocus.
U would think that but clearly they need another jolt; they'll be fine though; just need to play with some urgency; as far as steph those shots were falling in late dec and jan and half of feb; he's just in a slump; actually him and klay are; they will get out of it though....

Steph was fine imo. he missed 3's but he took it to the rim a trillion times and he almost never gets an and 1. they don't even think about blowing the whistle to give him an and 1 and there is always contact.

klay was the culprit.
he had wide open shot after wide open shot. 50% of the easy shots he missed which weren't all from 3 he missed layups as well he makes those it's a win.

still sleep walking and no idea about the rotation tonight.

Not sure he did take bad shots. Last 2 years he was making those shots. Now they just not dropping for him anymore.

He bailed out the defense with those pullup deep jumpers with no one to rebound underneath. He was getting to the rim at ease but choose not to exploit it.

Like I said a few weeks ago........that Plumlee trade made no sense. Nurkic got more potential then him and they threw in the draft pick.

REally? He shoots a ton when there is no pressure on him but when the game is on the line dude turns ghost, story of his career....

Plus Ruess Plays in a system where they shot the ball with in 15 secs and he is playing vs a team that likes to do the same thing, add to the fact that he is playing like its game 7 of the finals and taking all the shots adds up to a lot of shots..
The problem is when he plays in the playoffs and everyone else is playing at that level, lets see what he does then..
