Get well Kevin. Temporary setback. Golden State might lose 3 western conference playoff games now instead of 2. :boring:

these cats really tripping about the injury:lol:; If they arent lying and it is only a grade 2 MCL injury, he will be back in 4-5 weeks; that would put him right at the end of the regular season; I dont think anyone outside of the spurs could beat them without KD anyways; I expect him to be totally fine and ready for the playoffs; didnt steph have a similar injury and came back in like 3 weeks; now GS isnt going to sleep walk to the finals though; but the cavs will be able to :hmm::grin:

Yeah... The Cavs actually have an easier road to the finals all things equal, and a much easier road with Durant hurt... Adam Silver definitely did his job again this year. At least he didnt wait until the finals again to do it

Yep...but i don't think his injury is that bad though; he should be ready by the finals; that would put him at about June which would be 4 months...they good

with a hobbled KD....

you aint scared of the Spurs AT ALL?

Nope.

Not even a little bit.

They old now. For real this time. OKC ran them off the court last year doing nothing else then just playing fast.

They play the game so well that they can whup teams with similar talent, but they cant keep up with top teams who are physically superior.

Blessing in disguise; they need him mostly against spurs and then cavs; he should be fully healed by then....

I don't think SA will be able to beat Houston. I think that's a bad match up for them.

The only thing Houston is lacking is consistent defense. Which is why I feel they could be one of the better defensive teams in the league if it was part of their philosophy.

I agree and I'll take it a step further; i don't think they could beat a healthy LAC team either....

Cavs better hope LeBron doesnt roll his ankle ot some shit in the meantime. Hes due for a good injury as well...
Yep because if LBJ was to go down, they would go out first round; realistically though, they better hope Kyrie doesnt get hurt; hes more bound to and if that happens, they finished....

Shump
Krover
Lebron
Derrick
Fyre

Then come with the closers

Kyrie
Shump
Jefferson
Lebron
TT

They got a nice team, but defense and consistency will be an issue. Love has been more consistent, when compared to recent years, but I still think LBJ and Kyrie will have to hold much of the offensive weight. That could be a problem, because the Cavs barely kept pace with the Warriors last year (minus KD). If Love heats up, then it can become interesting.

Im thinking more so about offense than defense with I think of Cavs vs Warriors. Neither team has been able to stop the other teams top scorers more times than not. There was rarely a blow out in those playoff matches. So its basically gonna come down to who can outscore the other...imho.

I really hope Draymond doesnt try any dirty shit this year. I also hope the refs/league stays out of the series. I just wanna see how they play each other straight up!!

I really believe that people who watch these games, sports commentators included, do not look at the matchups; this dumb fuck, Steven A Smith, said with the new editions that should push Cavs over the top against GS:hmm::smh:; HOW NIGGA??? Fucking Idiots I swear!!!; but basketball is about matchups; and the Spurs struggle with good/great guard play because Parker is finish and Green is average; LA isnt that good in the Spurs system, so if a team can contain him; theres only 1 other major threat and thats Leonard; I dont think the Spurs matchup well with any of the top 3 west teams....

They have a nice team for the east; Their defense is still shitty; NY Knicks got whatever they wanted against the Cavs the other day; and thats not true about defense as it relates to GS; they were very effective against Irving and LBJ in both games; Irving didnt do shit until the final few mins in the 1st game; GS play defense and they can consistently attack LBJ and Irving on the offensive end; which helps their defense; one of the main reasons why they lost last year is because Barnes didnt or couldnt attack LBJ; enter KD and that changes completely....

and thats not true about defense as it relates to GS; they were very effective against Irving and LBJ in both games;

Im typing about the finals from last year. Adding KD improves their offense, not their defense. LBJ almost averaged a triple double vs GS and Kyrie was almost getting 30, 4, 4. But that was basically because they had to. LBJ and Kyrie were the only Cavs players from that series getting over 11 points per game. I cant remember if Love was hurt or not....but he was basically irrelevant.

GS is gonna get their points regardless. I havent seen many teams be able to slow them down OFFENSIVELY, but i have seen a number of teams be able to exploit their defense; last year and this year.

The Cavs defense does suck, but im more so typing about their offense. If they can get something from players other than LBJ and Kyrie, can they compete on the offensive side?

Because Lebron has dominated the last two finals. Arguably the MVP of the 2015 one. He leads everyone in everything and Durant isn't about to change that. What Lebron needed is more bodies. What his help (Love and Irving) need are more bodies.

If healthy Lebron will once again dominate the series, the questions is the help. Now there is more of a chance of a player catching fire. Feeling it. Shit happens. They even have bodies to put in hard fouls with no fucks to give.

With that said, if Lebron loses this year with a healthy squad, no excuses. None. He has a team that is 12 deep. More pieces than ever.

Last year has nothing to do with this year...why because GS is a different team; 2 new starters and 3 new bench players; last year GS don't even play the same as this year's team....they won't be able to outscore GS; also yes LBJ and Irving will be able to score they are good great players; no one can be stop u just hope to make their life difficult on the court; if you watch both games you will see that they were able to accomplish that; and when GS is focus this year you can't find one team that has been able to exploit them consistently; if you have please tell me the game....

Backtrack, LBJ dominated last year; he didnt not in no way dominate the year before; dude shot like 35% from the field; again he was healthy in the 2 games played this year, did he dominate?? And the fact that you and SAS are forming your opinion off the last 2 years is flat out hilarious; I didnt know that GS was the same team as they were 2 years ago; Hell are the same team as they were last year:hmm:; Now with the new additions please tell me how Korver and Williams and Bogut help them against GS :popcorn:Oh and lets talk about last year for a min; LBJ dominated, Irving was good right; Green got suspended, Bogut hurt and out, Iggy hurt, Curry played like ass, Barnes played like hes never seen a basketball, and GS didnt score the last what 4 mins of the game and they still could have won; and yet with all of that Cavs barely won; and you think that its gonna play out the same way this year:hmm:; Man I tell you some of you guys are too funny:lol:....

But what was his record?
He can score but they never had to double, but at the same time LeBron would score 26 but Durant team had to collapse and double on him making his other players better.. This is why OKC would never beat a LeBron James team.

Warriors should be fine.. They were starting to sleepwalk thru the second half and were clearly bored. This wakes things up and refocuses them. Durant should be ready to roll when needed. They didnt get him for the regular season anyway. And now hes fully integrated and comfortable within the system so they are straight.

Spurs would punish the Rockets. No size, defense, and Spurs have both and dictate pace. Paper clips are the team that give Spurs problems.
