Cam'ron Explains where things went wrong with Jim Jones on Instagram Live + Max B, Chrissy, Jay Z

here is hell rell talking about cam. also the reason why the beef started with juelz he didnt say it in the interview, was because juelz was drinking lean. he was addicted to it. and cam didnt like that. thats how the whole shit started. well one of the reasons

New York niggas

I gotta admit all this he said, I said shit is mad gossipy and feminine. Niggas is like early 40s speaking on some old irrelevant shit

honestly the south started winning when nyc started the constant beef within crews and couldnt unite.

then cali started winning when the south couldnt learn from nyc and their shit started falling apart.

diplomats = legendary though. cant take that away from these cats.

New York niggas are some of the most petty niggas on the planet....and I'm not taking nothing from them but they are far from legendary....

Pretty much. The one thing the South did was to not be constatnly beefing with crews. Let's all get this money. That's the mentality of the South though. Why hate?

Get money and fuck the hate. Most dudes be too busy getting money to even be hateful or beef with each other lol.

from the bits and pieces of both sides...sounds like cam and jim got cool...cam brought the music...jim brought the muscle (not himself but niggas he knew)...jim got in on the music and started smelling himself...cam removed himself from the bullshit

cam made jim look stupid overall but...

the strategic guy will ALWAYS be able to make the emotional guy look stupid every time.

Not claiming to know him but I bumped into Jimmy 3 times and he seem cool but that's me basing it on being around him for alil Idk him n alot ppl that does know him says he rubbed alot of em the wrong way

I've met Cam twice he was pretty quiet both times while Jimmy came off cooler but everybody says he the coolest nikka ever so just like that Jim will never be able to win this because everybody loves Cam n he's a funny guy, who don't love the funny guy that's always makes everybody laugh

Props to Rell, his flow is underrated and he was always one of the realest in the crew.

that's pure hate fam.

i clown nyc on the regular but the diplomat movement was a top 10 movement in hiphop. top 10 = legendary.

No they can easily be pushed outta top ten.

Notice I forgot Rush/Def Jam, Native Tongues, Hit Squad. You putting Dipset over Hit Squad?
dude you are confusing a click with a movement
sugar hill, so so def, hit squad, rush were not movements and in some cases were just management or clicks

rush was managment like violator

death row and def jam? come one they are labels!

Native was a movement Juice was a click
Roc was a click - but wu was a movement
No Limit and Cash I can't call cause I wasn't in those streets - but both are primarily labels!

Dip was a movement but Sugar Hill? gtfoh!

jojo called kanye gd.

if kanye was gd, its cuz they needed to bleed his nerdy ass when he started getting into the music game and he needed some cats to hold the wolves off.

its not like kanye west was out i the street putting in work lol. unless somebody can correct me...

kanye today... kim sucked the soul out that nigga straight up.

Best believe Cash Money and No Limit were.

I wasn't in those streets - thats where all movements start
and from what I do know about how both labels started - I'm not sure it would be much different than Rush DefJam or Violator or Ruthless

Best believe Cash Money and No Limit were.

SUC too...that's what I liked about dipset...NYC had its movements before but dipset imo brought that down south hustling style to NYC...I'd argue that rocafella was a movement but it felt manufactured whereas the no limits the cash moneys etc felt "organic"...that's how dipset came across to me...like it was birthed in the streets and not in an exec's office or a studio

I'd call Cash a movement as well. Hell, they even got a word added to the official lexicon.

Question: Zulu Nation, movement or clique?

both...I don't see why the words have to be mutually exclusive...it takes a crew/click to start a movement...but they were definitely a movement tho more than anything else

honorable mention = boot camp clik...nowhere near bigger than dipset tho...and I fuck w/ BCC music all the way...but I gotta be truthful about it

I disagree - a click is a group
but a movement is a community - many times chaotic and unorganized
Boot Camp was definitly another movement

Zulu goes back almost to the beginning
not a click not a gang but it was (and even though now smaller still is) a real community -
IMO it gave birth the movement that native tongues came out of

Yo, @ViCiouS don't you think a clique has to get the community involved first, like the BPP?

I listened to it all... good story telling
But damn does it take hours to drink a can of Pepsi
They need to cut him a check for that shit
