Someone dropped 10k earlier this week giving him 1.4 million. That's where that number came from.Right but he said from $100?
before this convo gets muddled...we were talking about the value of a ripple (XRP)...it is not @ 6 cents...it is 6/10 of 1 cent @ 0.006

I think I was looking at the bitcoin to ripple rate
I transferred about $300 dollars, and got about 41,500 ripple
Looks like some guys on here got more ripple for their money
I guess it might have to do with the price of bitcoin dropping the last few days
Absolutely. I was trying to think of how to become an exchange, or how to profit indirectly from the ripple coins with new people. I think I will set up a website to guide people through the buying process, maybe for a %. I bought the domain already. I need some web developers.

ok so I decided to do it w/ coinbase...uploaded my license (front/back)...it's now analyzing it...said it could take up to a minute but the blue spinning circle has been doing that now for 17 minutes...was that the case w/ you?

Your directions work prefectly but now I'm trying to deposit more and coinbase doesn't recognize the address Poloniex gives me. Can anyone help me out?

Another method of buying Bitcoin is at your local “Mom & Pop” cellphone store.
Go to the Play Store and type in “Libertyx” aka “Buy Bitcoin Instantly” app. Once you download & install the app, you can search your area for the closest Bitcoin distributor near you.
A quick rundown of this operation.
Cash Only
Each store has their own rates and fees plus the 1.5% Libertyx flat fee, and this adds up to be more expensive than coinbase.
You can buy up to $1,000/ per day (identity verified), depending on the store in your area.
You can buy up to $200/ per day (phone - text verification)
Everyone will experience this process differently, since this service is based on how knowledgeable the employees are about the service. A tip I have seen online is to call ahead and make sure the store knows about the Libertyx PIN/ Gift Cards.
My cousin loves this method and has been doing this to make his lump sum purchases. Personally, I don't mind the daily/weekly limit at coinbase. It forces me to be active on poloniex, since I'm looking for more ALT coin to invest in.

FYI and somebody correct me if I'm wrong but poloniex does not let you transfer $$$ to your bank when it comes time to cash out...you can withdraw $$$ in the form of cryptocurrency by sending it to a wallet/address for example sending it to kraken or a similar place that would then let you put your $$$ into your bank account...just looking @ cash out plans if/when it gets to that
