Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

That's why I fucks with Draymond his IQ is off the charts.. he chewed KD out and KD had to respect it..

KD called Green for an ISO only for KD to take a 3 with 20 secs left on the clock

Green was trying to get the ball back to start the mismatch of a big on Curry to run the same play curry did on Gasol
I disagree

This is the problem with the Warriors. They are fighting the obvious. This is Durants team and if they want to win a chip it will be because of Durant.

If Durant calls for the last shot and tells everyone to get the fuck out the way then as a team you live with the results.

Doesn't matter who takes the last shot the fact is Durant settled for a 3pt shot when he had ZBo on him with 20secs left in regulation.. that was an easy bucket if he had drove to the hole.

That's why Draymond chewed him out.. he ain't come to GS for that shit.. he could've stayed in OKC if he was gonna play low IQ ball

You live with the results. All that bitching was uncalled for

And there it is. Alright man.

It wasn't uncalled for it would have been smart of them to go back to this mismatch of Gasol on Curry.. Gasol was getting burned every time
What i miss? Golden State blew another 3-1 lead?

No it's not.

in this last finals they won by 4 points in 7 games after lebron cried about suspending draymond green lol

don't do this.

Low key Durant lost them that game.. with 20 secs left in regulation he took a 3pt shot against Zbo when he should have taken that shit to the hole..

Once he missed that shit I knew GS was losing that game lmaoo

That and Kerr being a shitty ass coach, Warriors should have given it to Walton instead
FOH nigga

Jordan clark son sonned y'all whole team

And he put his dukes up ready to scrap

What time Winslow play faggit

In order to lose a 3-1 lead you have to actually be up 3-1. That wasn't by accident. They choked but they damn sure shouldn't be taken lightly.

Draymond gonna have to spend this season bailing Kerr timid/Phil Jackson wanna be ass out.

Draymond can be a knucklehead sometimes(he gotta tighten up some of his own shit too), but he's the only one that will ride the squad and call niccas out. If he sees fucrky, he WILL let a muthafukka know.

Yo he was pissed at Durant for that shot... he was telling yo you had ZBo on you that slow foot mofo can't hold you take him to the hole.. don't settle for no 3pt shot and bail them out..

When Durant missed that shit I knew right there GS was losing that game

Yea that's kool but Krover ain't even made r there yet and once jr comes back Liggins minute will decrease a bit unless Lue do the correct thing and play 10 deep.
Let me say this, if both teams make it to the finals I would not hesitate using Liggins as a weapon on Thompson because if your running around at breakneck speed playing Warrior basketball for 30 plus minutes the last thing your going to want to see on you is a fresh, long armed, physical defender like Liggins on you.
If I was on the Cavs and we were playing the Warriors my strategy would be to try to wear the Warriors down, this is exactly what they did last season and during the first game this year. The thing about Liggins is that he has a little K. Leonard d.n.a. in his game, and LeBron James knows all too well how that type of player is hard to deal with once you are tired.
Now if I were the Warriors I start pressing that bench, because its a lot better than I thought it is going into the season, I would push McGee because I think size at the 5 spot is a weakness on the Cavs so why not try to exploit the weaknesses on Cleveland, I would also look to add another body maybe a point just to save Curry's legs.

:hmm::smh:.. You do realize Festus hasnt played the entire year because of his knees; oh wait a minute, he just had surgery on them and is out the indefinitely; You also do realize that Bogut has been hurt the entire season as well and has barely played; Man I swear some of you just say anything....

I know that both of them been hurt but your missing my point. The Warriors don't have that defensive presence in the paint that's all I'm saying man. Teams aren't scared of Zaza & Mcgee. They still the best team in the West but that's just one of their weakness.

Ha. Just some arguing over GS blowing a 20 lead going into the forth quarter and who's to blame. And some "unstoppable" pick and roll play that Durant and Steph should be using down the stretch. Nothing much.
Here is one the articles on NBA.com about the lack of pick and roll.

1. Draymond Green points to Durant to make sure Curry runs offense with him. Green wants the Warriors to run offense here, not just isolate. The Warriors have rarely, hardly ever actually run a Durant-Curry pick and roll in crunch time this season. Now's the time. It's a deadly set and they're sure to get a good look out of it. If they run it.... which they don't.

They did what in the 4th quarter tho?

And like they aint win a title the previous year playing a bunch of hobbled western teams and a Cavs team down two starters the entire series.. These niggas wild as shit mayne.

Came out of the west against a fully healthy conference last year.
And once Barnes decided he couldn't hit wide open jumpers the series turned.
It's hella gay how everything warriors is discredited. Everything.
Sorry as shit too.
You'll say they beat a hobbled cavs team when that same team swept the fucking ecf lol
It's all good keep it coming

Only because Kerr isnt playing Mcgee like he should.
If he did things would be different.
I don't coach the team otherwise iggy would get 5 minutes to show if he even deserves to play that night

You said specifically, they run an unstoppable play, but rarely use it. I asked for a receipt. When? Where? I didn't see it posted. So here we are.

If there is an article link in your post, I don't see it.

Those big guys set the most picks man. This isn't NBA2K or college basketball. Setting an effective screen is an art. And it can actually hurt. That's what bigs are for.

Lastly, Durant doesn't really want to drive so I don't believe it's practical long term solution to closing out games. The could do it, probably do it on occassion, but it's not an unstoppable play like you'd like it to be. Even with those two. Stop it.

We're here because Kerr thinks he's Phil Jackson.
As soon as they score 3 buckets stop the game and put them away- Call a timeout and get them into a good play- don't let momentum carry over.
Warriors only attempted 13 shots in a quarter and it wasn't because of incredible defense it was lazy play
Also they stopped running the offense. Everything is ISO or pick and roll no ball movement
Also Curry's Low bball I.Q. reared it's ugly head
Memphis shouldn't be in overtime right now. It should've been a route but when the coach lets your team turn the ball over and never stops it this is what happens

But how can a team like this get lazy?

Especially to a team that already beat them?

Amd again we have the same debate...

How important is coaching?

You always say it's the players and the talent...so how can you explain this?

The lost to the grizz...twice and losing to the best teams too. There us nothing positive to take from that.

I think remember the all time great Bulls team also lost to that Canada team twice too...so I'm not over blowing this. But it ain't good.

You have questioned Kerr for awhile now?

Sidebar...did you want Walton to stay?

That's exactly what I'm saying lol
Exactly.
They're losing to all the best teams.. every game but 1 of those they should have won.
And probably should have won easily if they did the little things.
These niggas are 31-6 and only shouldn't have won 2 games. @the Lakers and @Memphis
Other than that? Every loss has been their fault
Which is different than can't compete. Or had no chance to win isn't it?
2 losses in overtime that they should have one
And a 1 point loss against the defending Champs and they had the ball and a shot to win the game.

Once again these niggas are 31-6 and the panic button is it.
It's the same as last year so they should be used to it.
Team isn't even as good as its going to be in march
Took the heat until after the all star break before they hit their stride and put it together however this team needs to have it together now or else lol
I welcome iy
Bring all of the shit my way. I used to be like damn this shit is kind of foul now it's whatever.

Coaching this team should be simple
Hey run the offense get a good shot. .
Sit iggy because he has no place on the court there's no reason to put him in at end of game situations when you have Mcgee and it's a better more logical defensive lineup.

Worry about dragic and that piece of shit team called the los lakers

You niggas are back to the Eddie jones days

Should have saved money on that youth Rajon Rondo jersey

You realize that your team is in the eighth seed and mine is three games out of eighth

Who is your only player of the future, Butler?

Yeah the few times they did run it was lethal. Kerr seems to prefer using motion offense exclusively now. It has been a topic of discussion for a while now. When Alvin Gentry was running the offense the pick and roll was a staple of their offense. Kerr began to phase it out last season.

Hard to argue results as the Warriors have the best record in the NBA and the best offense.

When the offense is stagnant down the stretch the pick and roll would allow Curry and Durant to work.

They say Kerr does not want use it until the playoffs to keep teams from scouting it. Who knows but it would be nice to see s little more

Can't disagree about Liggins build, he's build very similar to Leonard. In sure he's gonna play, fuck he should. I've never like that shorten rotations shit, going 10 deep is tough, for opponents.

I've seen many times where folks what McGee to get more playing time against the Cavs. I'm not sure if most watched what happen during the 2nd half. McGee comes in moments later Fyre comes in. It didn't seem like Kerr was willingly to take that trade off.

Warriors just have to know they are lethal and just do what they do.
Run the offense take open shots and play great defense. Most teams won't be able to handle that. Everyone here knows that, the warriors knows that, the nba knows this. Just stick to what you did that let y'all break that record last year.
