Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

do they win the game 6 without bosh getting the rebound and passing to Ray Allen:hmm:;I guess thats an opioion and not fact; I guess LBJ rebounded his own miss shot and then passed it to Ray for the corner 3:hmm:...
Again, opinion. We dont know who would have been there in place of Bosh.. But we know the entire dam team wouldnt have been there without Bron...not to mention the entire play was a result of stupid substitution by Pop.. Lets not make this harder than it has to be.
Spurs, LAC, GS, Cavs, Atlanta, Memphis, Houston, Toronto, OKC, CHI....6; thats just off the top of my head...
Cool. So 6 to 4 by your count.. Not really much of a difference..And i think it will be even closer by seasons end.

Listen, its not an opinion; lets not talk circumstantial shit; this is what we know; Bosh got the rebound from LBJ miss 3, and kicked it out to Ray for the tie; thats a fact, and not an opinion; that actually occurred; Now if we are analyzing the game, the game should have been over if Leonard and Manu hit their free throws at the end of it; but thats not that point; point is without Bosh getting that rebound, MIAMI ONLY WINS 1 RING!!! #fact........

That maybe true; but the bottom and the middle of the west is better than the east bottom and middle; and at least there are a few teams that can make it interesting for GS; as of right now, who can make it interesting for Cavs?? the Hawks??:giggle:

Man how about switching the conferences of Cavs and Warriors.

I don't see much difference, maybe a few more hiccups but nothing drastic.

The East is weak arguments are passive agressive ways of saying LeBron going to 6 straight Finals is easy. The East was weaker in the early 2000s and several NBA Finals were won by Western teams easily back then and no one complained. The East was weaker when Detroit dominated it every year 7 years straight in the mid 2000s yet no one complained. The irony is the west at this point is weaker and masks bad basketball by high scoring regular season games with little to no defense. People are hoping the fucking CLIPPERS challenge Golden State, but thats a "strong" conference?
Not passive aggressive and it is more you being sensitive than anything. Lebron has played on stacked teams and their were not any competition in the east. You can only play who is on your schedule so no one is faulting Lebron.

How does a historically bad conference win half of the chips this decade?

And yes the west is very weak, a team won 73 games last year against mainly those squads. Same team already penciled in as champs and no one cares about the WCF.

Terrible argument. No one said Lebron teams were weak but the competition to the finals was weak.

Bosh was not a top 10 player on the Heat. Please post his NBA Finals averages those 4 years. No one knew or predicted them to go to 4 straight and every year there was an east team predicted to knock them off (Celtics, Knicks, Pacers, Bulls, etc). Its easy to say they were supposed to go to 4 straight Finals after the fact.

Kyrie played sparingly against the Hawks, and was not needed. Against Golden State yes he was absolutely needed. So yes the level in comp from their conference foe to their Finals foe was huge that year, but cats been saying this East is weak stuff since 2012 long before that. I still dont see how a conference that got half the chips this decade is "JV" to the other?
Bosh was one of the most skilled bigs in the NBA. What are you talking about him not being top 10. Who was better than him? He was a great defender, could score inside and knock down the outside shoots spacing the floor to allow James to operate

Lebrons ball dominate style of play hurt Bosh numbers. If Bosh played on the Warriors where they moved the ball Bosh offensive numbers would have jumped off the page.

The East has been weak for many years. LBJ has had a easy path FOR MANY YEARS. Those are facts. You just dont want to admit it because you keep visualizing LBJ having to work hard like the players had to do in the 80s and 90s.

I'll admit that the East has improved a lot over the years. The main issue with the East is that the talent is still very raw & inexperienced. Imho, the West aint no different than the East.

OKC aint going too far with ONLY Westbrook. The Spurs are nice (wish they could find a way to utilize Gasol more), but that Dynasty thing is done. The Clips are cool, but that shit will be another shipwreck during the playoffs; CP3 will be on a new team next year (and justifiably so). Once you get pass GS, Clips and Spurs, the West is just as raw as the East.

The NBA as a whole is very unbalanced and weak. Thats why we know the Cavs and GS will be in the finals again despite being less than 20 games into the season.

You mean Lebron would have not made it without Bosh. Lebron is not the most skilled basketball player. His go to move is to muscle his way to the basket and score in transition.

He was never a great shooter or post player. Without Bosh spreading the floor you get the Mavs performance all over again.

What's your take on 2015 finals against the dubs...

No Kyrie, Bosh, Wade, Love, Fyre, Shane,

There was times TT and Timothy was in the game together.
James Jones was able to stretch the floor at the four so that provide some spacing.

Im now convinced you dont know the diference between an opinion and a fact. Nor do you understand what "circumstantial" means. Take care.
Do u see those starting guards who had to guard MVP steph curry?

Do u see a Westbrook ? Paul? Parker? Lillard?

Lebron went to hella game 7s
^^^^^^^^^^^

No. I meant what i said. Ive seen Bron make a finals with Donyell Marshall and Boobie Gibson.. Seen him take a annual lottery winning team and make them champs too. Bron was the ONLY non replaceable piece on his teams.

The year before the Cavs got desperate and tried it with Iggy and he burned the Cavs to an MVP performance. Iggy was like you gone leave me open? Shit, I will take these easy buckets and he did exactly what you decribed. He knocked down the open shot, drove to the basket and dished the rock.

I have no hard feeling for Barnes and hope the brotha does well. But it is funny to hear people say "Golden State gave up a lot for Durant, not realizing that Barnes would have been a max contract which would have meant Losing Bogot, Speights, and Barbosa anyway.

Also people keep talking about the defense. Warriors offense is number one and now they are top ten in defensive efficiency

No they wouldn't have

To keep your own free agents you can go over the cap

If the comp is weak why is LeBron the only 1 who seems to take advantage of these easy paths? Stop making excuses. LeBron is the most dominant performer at getting to Finals since Bill Russell. Put him in the West, itd be "the West is weak, its easy to get to the Finals". If the West is so great why does it even matter? They should handle who come out the East easily right?

Queen, did you forget Golden State, Dallas and San Antonio?

People just don't realize that Barnes would have been a max contact..lol So Ezili, Bogat, Barbosa, and Rush would have been gone.

I see why the players went so hard after KD. They knew what time it was. Thinking about it now I would have let Barnes walk. No way he would have put up 27 a game like Durant

Yep

If they didn't get KD they were going to have to give Barnes the max to keep him anyway

Probably still having to move players

Not a bad trade off huh?

Still don't appreciate the dude and that's par for the course.
And nobody in their right fucking mind predicted any of those teams would beat the heat with lebron bosh and wade. not nobody. ain't no after the fact. the only questionable year was year 1 when nobody knew how it would work. once it did it was a wrap. you not bout to act like the heat had a hard road with fucking lebron bosh and wade like nobody believed in them lol
not going to fucking do it.

Right but you can't trot him out there and say you're worth more than klay thompson harrison and just 4 million less than draymond harrison and have the chemistry or dynamic even be remotely the same as it has been.

And you gon act like BGOL had them penciled in for 4 chips? Its not as easy as it seems, Bron has just made it look so. And again, why is LeBron the only 1 who can take advantage of these easy paths?

What is the opinion of Bosh getting
the rebound in game 6????

Naw you can't do that, dude had his days but wasn't what they wanted from the position.

Harrison is probably in a better spot, because there's unlimited opportunity for him to grow, now it's on him first then the staff secondly.

Nigga sensitive about him some LeBron isnt he!? :roflmao2:

And bitch you sensitive and cape for white men on a board that salutes black women. The fat fingered self hating coon that rode for Riley Cooper. Eat a white dick sambo while your ugly wife watches. Glad you got off the Golden State wagon tho. That Steph dickriding got annoying last year. :smh:
