Blatt wasn't a fan of Love.

Lebron just let the staff coach, the GM make his moves and he's just playing...

He had to show Kyrie how it's done, told Love to be ready to play, get stronger and other things would work out.

Think about this, look how long it took JR to get signed, if it wasn't for the sixers it probably would've went longer.

Bron realize that ain't a great look, when he's meddling in front office business. I think that's why he signed rather quicker than most excepted

I never understood how they used him in the first place. Dude was a 20 and 10 player, that doesn't just go away.

All he wants is a couple of post ups.

Let him post up when Lebron is out, and give him a few with Lebron out there to keep him happy.

The rest of the time have him out there at the three point line. It's not like you're totally changing his game around like Bosh, he already spent a lot of time at the three point line in Minnesota.

I think having JR and Frye has allowed them to have him down low more, because he's not the only one stretching the floor.

As good as Kyrie is playing and LeBron being Lebron, they HAD to start running plays for Love. They won the chip last year by play AND circumstance, but no way they would have been able to compete with GS if they didn't find a way to incorporate more of what Love is into the offense.

LeBron doesn't need plays run for him. He's such an otherworldly talent he will get his just from showing up on the floor. By extension, Kyrie has similar characteristics. Love needed to be MADE a part of the team, and now that he's comfortable, he is and will be a problem the rest of the season because his confidence is back! Dude can ball man, always could...

When u talk about the best players in the league u always hear Steph, LBJ , Durant etc. But when it pertains to overall talent, I actually put Westbrook above Steph. At times...above Durant & LBJ (because he dominates despite lacking size).

I think him and Durant wouldve eventually won a title together; if Durant didnt fold and join the enemy.

Blatt was just an idiot. They are quick to label these white dudes geniuses like D'Antoni, and you quickly find out other wise

The biggest problem should have been Kyrie and Lebron, and who would initiate the offense, not Kevin Love. Chris Bosh already gave the blueprint for playing with Lebron, and Kevin Love was already a 40% three point shooter without someone else drawing the double team.

He just had no balls to tell them to give Kevin some plays and it cost him his job

Cavs still don't use love right; he's playing better yes but that's a product of bad competition and love being more comfortable; he's still a spot up jump shooter and the better teams will easily defend that; and he struggles with the better power forwards in the league

Well he ain't no defensive wizard or even close to that...

But truth be told ain't many people can hold Paul Millsap. The problem with Lil Kev being matchup up against stronger players is his numbers on the offensive end can't suffer. He have to keep producing.
 
A few weeks ago I wanted to say something about Lue and his staff adding a few wrinkles to the scheme and attacks.

I've noticed quite a few times they've given the ball to Deep Fyrer on the block. They also let Liggins run with the starters for a few minutes, they also closed a game with Jordan, Shum, James, Jefferson and Fyre.

They can hide love against most teams because they have lbj and Kyrie; but against the better teams he and Tristan and Frye can be exploited; the problem is only 1 team in the east i think can exploit them; so they will get a free ride to the finals unless Kyrie gets hurt.....

He's good too, but Westbrook aint normal!

His defense may be the only flaw I can find. Westbrook aint on Cp3 level as far as best defensive PG's, but he's not trash either.

Westbrook has been overshadowed by Durant for years. But even when Durant was playing with him, he was still putting up big numbers more times than not.

I used to call him a ball hog, but this little ninja getting damn near a triple double every night. So the ball hog accusation is hard to come by.

Little guys who find a way to dominate the NBA are impressive to me. Thats why D Rose (in his prime) always impressed me more than LBJ.

Westbrook should be getting more than what he agreed to in that new contract.
