Official NBA 2016-2017 Thread - 30 teams, 1 goal. 2 weeks left, so much can happen!!

Cavs are looking good, I'm kinda glad Shum demands are low. Having. A great defender as your backup point is tough

Man I'm at the gym and this shit is clearer than that tv...

I hate seeing folks on they're phone and holding up a spot....so I'm get some legs extension and curls in until halftime

LIVE HD: CLEVELAND CAVALIERS vs BOSTON CELTICS WATCH LIVE ONLINE 11/3/2016

As of right now, I dont see anyone who will be competitive with the Cavs in the east; Boston aint ready; maybe they play better with Hortford, but they dont seem like they ready; Pacers aint all that; Heat is blah, Toronto is blah, Atlanta well fuck them, Chi is solid but I dont think they can take Cavs to 7, Charlotte is ok; Same ole east to me...

I'm very aware that Golden State can heat up in the 3rd, but this game going way different than I thought.

I really thought they would come out and beat the brakes off the thunder from the tipoff.

They supposed to be winning by 60 or something? Lol... OKC is a very good defensive team, but Russ can't carry them every single night on the offensive side.

When I was typing that OKC was still up...

I just thought they would jump on them from jump and don't let up.

This is why I say Westbrook should never be mentioned in the MVP voting... Dude is the biggest stat padder in the history of the NBA but never shows up in the big games..

You also said KD would average only 17pts per game on GS; even though he just tied the record for most consecutive 20point games(69 games) :hmm:; and he has averaging 28 and has 29 at halftime; man you be always on point with your analysis:hmm:

You taking it a little far, but he certainly is a stat padder and I certainly don't see a team going anywhere with him as the lead guy with him playing the way he does

What happened in OKC is a combination of Russ not respecting the order of how it SHOULD BE and KD not being an alpha male

Don't forget letting Harden walk.

I'm watching tiny Westbrook run into the teeth of the defense (Golden St is packing the paint and triple teaming him) and instead of passing to the open guy he is playing superman ball and getting his shit slapped every other time down field..
I watched this act for years and its not a isolated incident, even when he had stacked teams he never played team ball..
This is why I would never, ever give Westbrook a single vote if I had a MVP vote..

Yep that was dumb I always said that they never recovered from that but having two top 5 players in the league you still supposed to make that work

You know what's better than two top five players playing on the same team.....Three top five players on the same team..

You need a big 3

@RoadRage you still think OKC better off without KD?
Like last year there are going to be teams that have no chance at beating the Warriors, if you cannot shoot, play half court ball, rebound, attack the rim while being able to hit the outside shot you will get buried..
So teams sloppy teams like the Blazers and the Thunder will get blown out 99 times out of a 100 vs G.S.
I wanna see how they do vs teams that match up against them, from what I've seen so far they are not that much if at all better than last years team...
Think about it, last years team blew away the Thunder in similar fashion even with Durant. so blowing away a team that is sloppy and can't play defense is no big feat for a high scoring team like the Warriors..

that's going to be your stance every night.
even if they do everything you say you're going to write a dissertation on how it's not really that big of a deal. and that's all good fam.

I always said they had the wrong guy at point when harden was there. Oh harden was at point with Westbrook at the 2 and KD 3 team would've been unstoppable

Even with the blow out look at the line...
Curry -9 from his last years averge, Green -5, Thompson -4, Durant is +21 over Barnes so in actuality if you don't include the bench they scored just +2 over a average game from last years starters, but that unit had Bogut a better rim protector and a better bench...
I know the starters was pulled but many times the starters were pulled in blowouts also, so that figured in in their average...

I said the same thing last year in-spite of them breaking the NBA record for most wins and in the end their weaknesses was exposed...
