Kevin Durant says being with the Warriors is teaching him about the game
When Kevin Durant joined the Warriors, there was a collective feeling of "Now we'll get to see Kevin Durant in a real system." This came despite the fact that the Thunder consistently won more than 50 games, made the Western Conference Finals four times, each time Russell Westbrook or Kevin Durant did not suffer major injuries, and the fact Durant won MVP in OKC. The idea was that the ball movement the Warriors offer would unlock something.

Clearly, Durant feels the same, as he told reporters this week that being in Golden State has taught him how little he knows about the game and how much better it can be.
"There's a lot I need to learn about the game of basketball," Durant told reporters this week. "I'm not as smart as I thought I was about the game. It's played a different way here then I was used to playing."
But Durant made it clear that he wasn't knocking his former team by making his admission.
"It's not a knock on Oklahoma City," Durant said. "It's not a knock on my past teammates or that organization. ... I mean it's different here. It's fun here. It's fun playing where I was before but that book is closed."
he's not knocking Westbrook.

By mid season Doc is going to realize that he don't have the squad he thinks he has.. The thing about veteran teams is that you cannot trick or fool them with coaching, they know what it is.. And as soon as the core realize they do not have the guns to compete against the younger more athletic teams, well mentally they are going to pre-retirement stage, where their minds are on what are they going to do after basketball more than what they are doing now..
You saw it in Kobe last year and at times it got ugly, so just imagine a whole team doing that shit.
I know it was just a pre-season game that should not matter, but I did see the look on several of the Clipper players yesterday, and if they come off to a slow start its only going to get worse and worse... I would not be the least bit surprised if they wind up blowing up that team, come mid season...

That back court is going to be high octain but I don't think they will be able to play a lick of defense and if you slow things down in a half court set they are done..
Their bench has no scoring in the backcourt. Their going to have to keep Rus or Victor in at all times
