Something tells me that this Judas bullet shit is going to be a game changer for further marvel series.
Someone seems disappointed in the show

...they're still dropping names.. I mean WHO the HELL puts BIG L and ASAP ROCKY in the same sentence?
The Last Ship was the ship.I hope Alfrie Woodard's role as the villain lasts longer than it did on The Last Ship.
Watch the rest of the show. The Last Ship was the ship.
In episode 4, the prison psychiatrist calls Luke Cage "Carl". What is the deal behind that? I haven't read the comic books
Alright then, I just got Carl Lucas.Watch the rest of the show.

Second question, what does the wire have to do with the show? Is it the same directors, the same producers? I've seen Kima Greggs, Butchy, Levy the Lawyer, and I think there's one more
What is the connection the wire has to this show?
i agree, Big L and ASAP should not be mentioned in the same breath. But the show is also paying homage to people from Harlem. The name dropping was actually pretty cool, because it fit in well with the discussions. Is it me, or does this series go overboard with the NAME DROPS? I can understand for deposition and I thought it would be over by the first episode but here I am at episode 7 and they're still dropping names.. I mean WHO the HELL puts BIG L and ASAP ROCKY in the same sentence?
no connection, and don't forget about Meth. He was also in the Wire. Meth and Squabbles were also in Oz. I think there was someone else from Oz that was in this too, but it was probably early on in the show and i forgot.Second question, what does the wire have to do with the show? Yep that ninja Turk said "Y'all Harlem Niggas is Crazy, I'm going back to Hell's Kitchen, where its safe!"just realized the dude playing chess was the same guy who always gets beat up by daredevil.

I get what he is saying...but what he wants would pigeonhole the character...the way it was done provides far more avenues to use the character...he is wrong on this oneSomeone seems disappointed in the show

I think that because it's already guarantee the season, the writers can take their time and flush out the true definition of the character Luke Cage. Network TV shows don't have that option, and TV shows that start slow often don't make the 6th episodeon ep 6 now , shits good but a tad slow
I'm confused....so this is his story after meeting Jessica Jone???? How did he own that bar that if he's working two jobs what am I missing....Gottdammit I gotta go rewatch jessica Jones now....
Shit he wants it done like the comics. Can't fault him for that at all!! I finished'em allQuentin can kick rocks on this one... this is the best thing marvel has put out in awhile. The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission.
The lady cop said every episode is named after a Gangstarr song
