That's the problem. The system is real. Using bad examples of the system is just undermining the cause. And make no mistake, this is a PR battle. I know some don't understand that shit, but it is.
Fuck the system. Fuck the pigs. But damn, cases have to be evaluated in a strategic manner. This is a war for minds. And it's not just domestic, the world is watching this shit.

We both understand that in the eyes of the system they feel they do not have to go above and beyond protocol. As black people understanding this can mean life or death in dealing with the Tamahu.

Like you said Gene, they should concentrate on the over zealousness of police to use excess in situations that should be handled more delicately or with more tact and strategy rather than always calling for force (excessive in most cases).

This is a situation that didn't need to happen. But ALL police departments need reform...this incident and department is no different.
